1 Corinthians 15:35-49
John Calvin said that the idea that our physical bodies, subject to death and decomposition, will not only be restored to life, but brought back in a much greater condition seems to our "human reason...as the greatest absurdity in the world." Yet, as Paul argues in 1 Corinthians 15, it is actually a concept built into the very fabric of creation all around us. Not only that, the bodily resurrection which awaits believers in Christ, not only is grounds for the solid hope of an eternal future, but also informs how we view and live in our current earthly bodies. Now we look at how our resurrection bodies will be perfectly fit for heaven.
