Ambient Atomic Orbitals

A soundtrack to a walk around Worcester town centre before a canal journey I took.
Set the mood perfectly.

ZEITGEIST, “The defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time”.

This episode includes 4 tracks from the album from SUBCUTICULAR RECORDS ,

 THE ZEITGEIST COLLECTION

A record company that focuses on unknown, and unconventional music.

When we were asked if we would be interested in including a couple of tracks from the album, after listening to the works it was one of the easiest YES’s we have ever agreed upon.

Experimental and sometimes minimal, a real treat and a good fit for us .

You really need to get over to Bandcamp to see why we like what’s coming out from there so much.

Daevid Allen
Enya
KLF
Vangelis
WUUB
And a few more featured here.

A mix to ponder, chill, relax, sleep to. Nothing harsh, I promise.

A choir themed mix with a dash of ambient. Always loved a dark choir. Ever since I heard Daevid Allen's Euterpe gratitude piece, 2001 Space odyssey and snippets of the Orb. A personal indulgence this one but still classes as ambient in my humble.

It's been a while.

Ambient musician Delicate Noise (aka Mark Andrushko) returns with his latest masterpiece of cinematic sound in the form of hence EP. It follows on from five previous albums and yet again this four-track EP is saturated in mystery, spaciousness and imagination, which the artist himself describes as “best enjoyed with headphones, listening to it at night, with a glass of cabernet…”
We have been granted permission to showcase his works in this mix.
Soon as we heard 15 seconds of the first track we knew he would be a great fit to our mixes.
We have put the 4 tracks from his EP right up front at the start.

Breaking my own rules in this mix, I have used a couple of tracks with .............BEATS.
They fit nicely so not too bothered and I promise not to make it a habit.

An impromptu mix to celebrate the ones we have lost.
Artists featured are Symphocat, Robert Rich, Ex confusion and a handful more.
Love to all.
