In todays episode I am taking on part 2 of The Power of No. I still felt I had so much more to add to this topic after I concluded episode 16. We discuss getting on our own way because of ego, FOMO culture and encouraging yourself to take on "No" in the work place, relationships and opportunities. I think its important to lean into the quality of life you want instead of worrying about what everyone else thinks.

In todays episode I wanted to discuss the power behind our yes and no. In life we have to make plenty of choices big or small that make an impact on our future. So why do we feel the need to say yes to things we don't even want to be apart of ? We discuss the two things we need in order to start down this road of "No" and how to put ourselves first to benefit our wellbeing. Having people pleasing tendencies myself, I know this can bring some value to someone having a hard time choosing No.
This episode will be an introductory leading into part two diving deeper into this topic that I feel needs more coverage.

In Todays episode, I am shedding a light on the value of our friendships, relationships and inner connects. It took me a VERY long time to find the right people I can rely on and I feel as though we all need people to confide into. Your inner circle is your foundation. They help guide you and remind you of who you are. I discuss ways to support your artists friends that literally take 5 seconds out of your day! I want to gently guide us into identifying what real relationships are like and help us align the pieces for deeper more meaningful relationships.
I'm hoping to create a part two to this episode because I feel there is so much of this topic that has only touched the surface of this episode. So look out for that as well.

In Todays episode, we are discussing The Art of Doing. This is a conversation on how to choose your future self and the life that YOU want! We talk about perfectionism, how your creativity is your impact and the toxicity that art can hold when its being contained. Its all simple lessons we all know but have to resurface every so often. Im super passionate about this topic because action is what is going to lead us into the future!

In todays episode I wanted to touch on the subject of PURPOSE. If you are struggling to find it, its okay. You're not alone in that! But I wanted to encourage anyone still searching for themselves to trust the process and seek inward. Let the things that are pressing on your heart propel you forward and the rest will be history! I'm excited to discuss this topic so tune in-- Its going to be a good one.

In todays episode I'm asking everyone to take their all accomplishments and keep them for the resume. This industry is so polluted with having to prove worthiness and value even after the audition room. I have sat through enough conversations where the only concern is to list out all their accomplishments. I think its time to stop the "One Up" culture. But how do we start being more aware of our need to compete when its not a competition ? I'll be discussing my most recent encounter like this on set and how I choose to change the conversation.

In todays episode, I will be quickly sharing what is the current situation being a creative going through the Covid-19 pandemic in New York City. Hopefully I'll be giving some insight and give some ideas on keeping occupied in this self quarantine season. Although this has completely turned our world upside down, my hope is that we do not loose sight of the future. Things will get better and don't be afraid to ask for help! I'll be leaving information on foundations, programs, and resources dedicated to taking care of people going through this crisis as well. That includes you freelancers, actors, artists, or just someone who can't afford groceries. I will be spreading them across all my platforms. You will not be left alone in this. I don't want to make it seem like I am in any means downplaying this but I am basing this discussion purely on what I have seen and heard in my part of the world. I am trying to bring a light heart and hope moving forward. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy!

In todays episode, Kendra and I will be discussing nudity in the creative industry such as film, stage, photography, etc. We will touch on subjects such as being ostracized by our church, embracing the beauty of being men and women of confidence and the “taboo” subject of sex onstage. Would we take opportunity to do a sex / nude scene if it were to arise? Would you ?

Hello you lovely, lovely humans of the internet.
Welcome to another episode of Ambitious. I can't believe we're already on episode 8. Today I invited my friend Kendra Marie Smith into my conversation this week. We talk about over coming standards of beauty, artistry, and in just being a person in this society. We talk about getting boxed in by your faith and what it means to be a creative in this closed minded society. I would love to know what you're thoughts are on this discussion!
