Amelia Earhart was an American aviation pioneer who fundamentally changed things for women.  She shattered gender stereotypes in aviation and fought for equal rights.  She proved that women had the skill, endurance, and expertise that were traditionally reserved for men.  She paved the way for future generations to be part of what used to be male-dominated fields.  But Amelia wasn’t able to enjoy her success for very long.
