Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr try to figure out why Senator Bill Cassidy essentially committed political suicide by voting to convince Former-President Donald Trump. One possibility might be a mis-construed sense of power. Another might be a possibility for the Democrats to get Cassidy to leave the Senate for a position in the Biden Administration, allowing Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards to appoint himself to the Senate and thus giving the Democrats complete control of the US Senate, rather than the 50-50 split we currently have.

Vice President Kamala Harris is claiming the Trump Administration had no strategy or plan for the distribution of the COVID vaccine, so now the Biden Administration is claiming — falsely, of course — that they are having to start all over. Apparently, “letting the States” manage their own distribution was not an acceptable plan. Is that because the Democrats see all State governments as being totally incapable of tending to their own affairs (States Rights Amendment 10)? Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr explain this is how Federalism works. Too bad Harris is from California where nothing works (!) because she would have otherwise known the process of administering the vaccines has been ongoing since December.

Who and how are elected representatives supposed to be considering in making their official decisions? Are they supposed to pay attention to the calls, e-mails, and letters their offices receive on each matter? Are they supposed to vote according to the most current popularity opinion polls from “back home”? Or are they supposed to ignore what those who elected him/her want and just do what seems best or most politically advantageous at the time? Every decision should be run through the second sentence of the Declaration of Independence, first and foremost. Next, politicians should tell people what they will or will not do during the campaign, if elected, and then do what they said. You serve the people, and do not cause surprises in your decisions. Explanations must stand up to the facts!

They explain that Louisiana and nearby southern states are well prepared to handle hurricanes, heat waves, and tornadoes. Snow so seldom is a southern weather event that it is not a good use of taxpayer money to purchase and store snow removal equipment.

Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy ran for re-election representing himself to be a loyal supporter of President Trump. Almost immediately after re-election, he started behaving as if he was not. By being one of only 7 Republicans to vote to convict Former-President Trump in a totally sham, totally political impeachment process, he has now been censured by the entire Louisiana Republican Party by unanimous vote. Even so, he has been on television indicating he is not in Congress to represent the Will of the People of Louisiana, but rather to decide on his own what is best for them.

There is a study out by the Family Research Council indicating there is a correlation between being married and being more conservative. Stephen Parr goes over the research data, and Louis Avallone explains why conservatism and multi-generational families are more likely.

The show begins with a reminder of the Billy Joel song, "Honesty", and the lyric “Honesty Is hardly ever heard”. This seems to be especially true of Democrats and their politics, and it became an extreme problem during the Obama Administration. Currently Governor Cuomo has been lying about his State’s nursing home deaths due to COVID-19, and the Democrats in Congress have been lying about Trump being responsible for the Capitol Riot. The problem is “common sense” no longer has value to people any more. We now live in a land where you don’t have to take responsibility for anything you do when you can blame someone else.

The Biden Administration seems to want to be friends with countries that really do not want to be friends with us, and in the process, seem to be irritating our real world friends. This is not good. Are Israel and Saudi Arabia our friends? Why not be nice to them? What about Canada, with the mutual peaceful border? Why treat them badly? Thus, they no longer believe they even have to pay attention to the words written in the US Constitution! An example is letting a senator act as both the judge (when the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is the only one legally able to do it). But then worse, that same “judge” senator is voting on the fake impeachment of a private citizen. Why would they, including the 6 RINO Senators, be doing this? Because they hate Donald Trump more than they love Americans.

There is a point where “political correctness” reaches the absolute absurd…..AND THIS IS IT! You can change all the words you want, but those X and Y chromosomes are being very stubborn when it comes to “political correctness”. Which State leads the Nation in exports to Foreign Countries? Texas, for the past 19 years, followed by California, New York, and Louisiana. But Texas exports 4 times the volume of California, New York, and Louisiana combined! Because Texas has about 1/2 the entire border with Mexico, a very large trade happens there. Texas also is the Nation’s largest maritime exporter through the ports located all along the the shoreline with the Gulf of Mexico.

The Biden moratorium against drilling on Federal lands, as well as in the Gulf of Mexico, is going to increase the economic damage already done to Louisiana because of the COVID-19 tourism shutdowns. Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr explain just the State of Louisiana will lose at least $95,000,000 in tax revenues, as well as 200,000 jobs in the oil and gas industry. This will further hurt all the small businesses which support the people who make their living off of those jobs. The results are going to be devastating. Other states which will be similarly heavily impacted are Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Montana, and Alaska.

Dolly Pardon is a wonderful example about how hard work enables Americans to achieve “the American Dream”. Apparently, however, the political left are now hostile to both hard work and its resulting opportunities for success. Yes, it means one must work more than just “9 to 5”, but for people willing to work hard, they should not be regarded in any sort of negative point of view.

They explain how he used then President Trump to draw votes to be re-elected to the Senate, and then, instead of remaining loyal to a many who had been loyal to him, he immediately turns on Trump. Denise describes how Cassidy is a classic “name dropper” for the purpose of furthering his own career, which is definitely not a good character trait. Teri talks about how the Democrats are using edited video to get peoples’ emotions all upset, and they are doing it by spreading lies. Cassidy fell for it, and proving himself to be a classic RINO, he voted with the Democrats instead of voting for what was Constitutional!

After discussing the reality that women are 51% of the American population, and yet Biden just destroyed Women’s Sports, Stephen Parr and Louis Avallone explain the Congressional Budget Office has released its report on the consequences of the Minimum Wage being raised to $15.00 an hour across the Nation. What was not well reported was the part that 1.4 million jobs could be lost, although it could be as high as 3.7 million jobs! The only way some would actually be better off under a $15.00 an hour wage would be for others to have their jobs be completely wiped out.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been doing a good job of leading his state through these difficult times. The other 49 State Governors need to follow his example.

Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr point out the FBI has numerous affidavits supporting the evidence that planning for the Capitol Building riot was in the planning stages for at least two months before Jan. 6. Furthermore, they discuss the rates at the Trump International Hotel, which is located just blocks from the White House…..normal rates and “special event” rates. Very interesting information.

During declared States of Emergency for weather and other disasters, it is illegal to raise prices for the purpose of making profits. Why is it not the same if additional fees get added to services during declared States of Emergency for COVID-19?

What was the true meaning of the “Reunited States of America” with a communist Red Star in the middle? And while people are talking about the Jeep commercial, no one is talking about the crowd in the stadium booing the Bidens on the big screen, for the entire time they were being shown, promoting wearing masks. Teri really enjoyed watching Roger Goodell, NFL Commissioner, having to give the Lombardi Trophy to Tom Brady after Goodell’s past attitudes about Brady. Denise explains why the National Anthem needs to be sung the way John Scott Keys wrote it.

Correcting the record regarding Jan 6’s press reports: 1.) Donald Trump did NOT incite a riot. He did not call for violence nor for breaking any laws. 2.) Rioters overwhelmed the Capitol barricades before Trump quit talking in a different location some walking distance away. The rioting had already begun more than an hour before those listening to the speech could have walked to the Capitol after Trump spoke. 3.) The FBI knew this Capitol Riot was not “spontaneous”. They have evidence it was being planned weeks in advance. These are all very important details the Democrats and the dishonest press does not want the American people to know.

In a 6-3 ruling, the US Supreme Court has struck down California’s ban on indoor religious worship. Justice Gorsuch wrote “even in times of crisis, … ,we have a duty to hold governments to the Constitution”. The question is why the decanting 3 Justices think banning church worship is ever acceptable under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. But why did these same conservative justices all California to ban singing during religious worship? Singing or chanting are fundamental elements of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

Just labeling something as “bipartisan” does not make it so. Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr look at the way the term “bipartisan” is being considered in the Biden Administration and what it really means. True bipartisanism will bring COMMON SENSE to the decisions being made in government. It requires compromise. Without it, the Democrats are only bringing GRIEVANCE to governing.

Apparently, radio appears to the last beacon of FREE SPEECH in the USA. FoxNews just cancelled Lou Dobbs for his opinions about election fraud…..just as the US Supreme Court finally agreed to look at some election fraud cases. Free speech no longer can be found in universities, news print (papers or magazines), television, nor the internet. Anyone who tries to engage in the Constitutionally protected Free Speech under Amendment 1 will be shut down.

PETA wants us to stop calling each other animal names….because it is insulting to the animals! Our @American Mamas, Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur, tell us this is now called “speciesism”, which implies humans are superior to animals. Thus, PETA is telling us not to use words like “chicken”, “rat”, “snake", “pig”, or “sloth" in describing a human’s behavior because “anti-animal slurs degrade animals.…”

The Bill of Rights has 10 Articles which the Founding States felt were critical to protecting Americans from tyranny. The 10th Amendment reads “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.” This is a fundamental provision of our Nation actually being a Republic (which is very different from “a democracy”). The problem with Biden’s flood of Executive Orders is many are not Constitutional, and under the 10th Amendment, the States have power to fight back. North Dakota is taking action. What is your state doing?

The CDC is now saying schools can be safely reopened. Unfortunately for the students, there are too many teachers’ unions fighting to keep the schools closed. This is not about keeping the students safe, and for the most part, not even about keeping the teachers safe, since the scientific data shows students in elementary and middle schools are not likely to be spreaders of COVID-19. They will say “it is for the students”, but NO! It is about Union Power….as it always is whenever the Teachers’ Unions get involved. It is time for the Teachers’ Unions to put the best interests of the students first.

Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr continue to be concerned by what Louis calls the “backwards, fruitless, and shortsightedness" of the Biden White House and all the damage he is doing with his flood of Executive Orders. In this segment of American Ground Radio, they analyze the huge expansion Biden’s Administration continues to make in the realm of immigration.

Rep. Maxine Waters lives by an incredible double standard, believing she is always “justified”, but the Republican never are…..not even when she is attacking Republicans for doing (in her mind) what she previously demanded her liberal followers to! Facts and Truth are irrelevant!

Our American Mamas, Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur, look at the “self-talk” sayings parents and grandparents used to say to children to teach values and self-reliance in the past. It helped children to grow up being able to evaluate and to cope with what happens in their lives. It did not create children who would become young adults unable to handle even “hurtful” words and needing safe spaces for “protection”.

The Biden Administration, along with those who are aggressively support them, are “gaslighting” the American people about why letting transgenders “identifying as females” play in Women’s Sport. The ACLU has joined the gaslighting on this subject with a series of tweets, all of which are absolutely not true. Stephen Parr explains.

In adopting new Social Studies curriculum standards for North Carolina schools, the North Carolina Board of Education decided to include more about racism, discrimination, and gender identity, as BLM was pushing for; however, the word “systemic” was removed from the wording of the curriculum standard. Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, a black himself, was not in favor of the original proposal which included the word “systemic”. Further, he has recently been quoted saying “The system of government that we have in this nation is not systematically racist.” His website said including that word in the changes would be "political in nature, undermine our unity, and indoctrinate our students against our great country."

Why is anyone believing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez any more? After all, she has accused Sen. Ted Cruz of trying to have her murdered during the Capitol Riot. Just doing that is incredible! But worse, AOC was not even in the Capitol Building at the time! She was in her own office in the Cannon Building, and Capitol Police were looking for her to be certain she was safe! Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has her office two doors down the hall, and has been clear there was no rioting people in that building. It would have been very easy for the news media to have checked out AOC’s “story” before going public, but being ugly towards Trump and Republicans was more important than reporting the factual truth.

In the first two weeks of the Biden Administration, there have been so many really bad decisions made which are now generating big, negative consequences upon the American people. And other senior political leaders are pushing for even more drastic actions. Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr explain.

As an example, only speakers from BLM were allowed to speak at a recent student assembly, and no one included to provide any sort of counterbalance. It is time for the parents of our students to start making calls and taking other actions, as needed, to get control of their children’s schools back into a better, fairer, more tolerant place.

The Long Beach, CA, City Council passed a new ordinance called “Hero Pay” as a way of thanking the grocery store workers for their service through the pandemic lockdowns…only for grocery workers, not the medical and emergency workers for some reason. This very bad idea turned out to be a mandated $4 an hour permanent wage increase, which must be paid by grocery stores. The result: Kroger is closing 2 stores, which are 2 of the 8 grocery stores in Long Beach.

In Indiana, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that a nativity scene being on display at the Jackson County Courthouse is indeed Constitutional.. This ruling is in keeping with other previous rulings in similar cases by both the Supreme Court and other Federal Courts. The fact that other secular symbols of the Christmas season, such as candy canes and Santa Clause, really makes the decorations be a celebration of the historical origins of Christmas, which is a National public holiday.

President Biden has now signed 40 Executive Orders in the first 13 days of being in office. Some are even saying the signature on these documents now do not look like Biden’s signature from years past. Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr are wondering who is really writing and approving this flood of Executive Orders because they are pretty certain Joe Biden is not in charge of this.

According to our US Constitution, Presidents do not have doctoral powers. That means no President can sign Executive Orders to override existing laws passed by Congress, especially if it involves money!

Our @American Mamas, Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur, “Ain’t No ‘Circle Back’ Girls"! They tell it the way they see it. Is it possible the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki wants the questions in advance from the White House Press Corps so she can better prepare the official White House lies? Teri and Denise admit they often do not know what the questions are until they get to the studio. So what is Jen’s problem?

The Biden Administration knows the “Green New Deal” is not popular with Americans because it will cost too many jobs. So instead, the Left is determined to lie and to fool Americans into believing false garbage in order to ultimately be able to rule and control us. Bjorn Lomborg, author of “The Skeptical Environmentalist”, recently said that eliminating all oil and gas was not a reasonable move. “Gas is the bridge fuel.” He further explained, “This is the smart way to get a lot of nations away from coal towards gas. If we could get China to switch from coal to gas, we could do more than anything else..." in actually lowering carbon dioxide emissions.

At this point, more Americans have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine than have gotten the disease! More than 15% of the American population now have a reasonable degree of immunity, meaning either having had at least one dose of the vaccine or having recovered from the disease itself. Only the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, and the UAE are now able to administer more vaccine doses each day than have new cases being reported. (And the truth is all of this has happened under the rollout plan from the Trump Administration.)
