How did you spend your Earth Day? Some people celebrate the day, and make huge efforts to lessen their carbon footprint or go green. But, as a former meteorogist, Stephen's not so convinced. We investigated and debated the legitimacy and practice of Earth Day on Monday's "Digging Deep".

As people become more and more dissatisfied with the existing party system, an alarming amount of people are running for office as socialists. Yes, that's right. We talked about the poor efficacy of socialism in practice on Monday's "To Begin With".

To start our week off right, on Monday's "Top 3 Things You Need to Know Before Tomorrow", we discussed:

1) French President Emmanuel Macron's visit with Trump in DC, dinner at Mt. Vernon
2) 8 states hitting a record low in unemployment in the last month, making a total of 14 states to do so in the last year
3) Romney's upcoming primary for senate with Mike Kennedy in Utah, only received support of 49% of delegates

"Dear Mamas, In my workplace, there are five women. Three white. Two black. (They prefer "black" to "African American"). We are all moms and we are all very close. In a recent lunch discussion, I was telling all of them the repercussions my son was going to get from me for lying about his whereabouts the night before. My two black friends looked at each other and then started dying laughing. Long story short, we all spent the rest of our lunch hour discussing the main differences in the way black moms parent to the way white moms parent. Is there really a difference? Do y'all think black moms are more strict, while white moms are too lenient? And do black children seem to respect their moms more than white kids do their moms?"

The American Lung Association recently released its list of the 10 most polluted cities in America. California is home to 8 of them. If California is supposed to be such a "green" state, why is its air so brown? Can it be attributed to policy or to other factors? We debated some possibilities on Friday's "Here's the Thing..."

Democrats have been out-fundraising Republicans, and seem to expect a "Blue Wave Election" in the fall. Locally, they seem to be doing well, but nationally, the DNC is in deep debt while the RNC is flourishing. On some of these campaigns, are all of the funds local or supplemented by PAC interests? We dug deep on Friday's show, listen in.
