Ever wish you had a stronger support system in motherhood? A place where you truly belong? Imagine a space filled with laughter, understanding, and genuine support. Where shared wisdom makes your journey lighter, and lifelong friendships bloom. This episode is truly for you. We believe every mom deserves a village, a supportive community where you are truly seen, heard, and understood.
Discover how connecting with like-minded moms can reignite your joy, boost your confidence, and remind you that you're not only a mom, but a woman with unique gifts and needs. Imagine a space where you can share your triumphs and tears without judgment, where you're cheered on through every challenge and victory.
In this episode, you'll hear an inspiring story from one incredible mom, Angela Wilkes, who is transforming her community, creating a haven and safe place for mothers where she lives. She'll share how you can do the same, proving that building your tribe is more achievable than you think.
We're thrilled to have Becky Rowan, a wonderful leader with American Mothers, Inc., who breaks down exactly how you can create this powerful village in your own community, sharing the easy steps to get started today as you connect with moms and build your own supportive tribe, your very own American Mothers chapter.
Ready to start building your mom community? Here are the five easy steps to make it happen:
- Gather your friends, neighbors, and fellow moms. Start with those in your immediate circle who share your desire for connection.
- Introduce American Mothers Inc.® and tap into national support. Connect with our national team, and we'll arrange for a representative to meet with your group, either in person or virtually, to share insights and answer your questions about forming a chapter.
- Define your chapter's passion: What will you focus on? Will your group be a space for learning and connecting, engaging in service projects, celebrating and honoring mothers, or a unique combination that fits your community's needs?
- Design your gatherings: How and when will you meet? Decide whether you'll meet in person, virtually, or both. Be creative to meet your group's needs, whether it's monthly coffee chats, quarterly workshops, or something else entirely. Then, select three dedicated leaders to help guide your chapter and foster unity.
- Join the American Mothers family. Become an official chapter by joining American Mothers, Inc. on our website at americanmothers.org. Annual membership dues are just $40, giving you access to resources and a national network of support.
