November 2nd, 2021 had a lot of history unfold all over the United States of America chapter of political history. Virginia elected its first Republican Governor in twelve years; virginians elected Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin to become their next Governor Virginia. However, voters in Virginia also elected a Republican candidate to be their Lieutenant governor as well as the next attorney general of Virginia. Big cities and towns across America elected or in some cases re-elected their slate of candidates for their Mayoral position. Boston made history by electing Boston's first ever women of Asian American descent Michelle Wu to become their next Mayor. I discuss other important Mayoral races and results from these mayoral races according to a CNN article published on the web. Most importantly, across the U.S. voters had their voices and opinions heard no matter if their candidate for a certain political office or a city position won or not. In America, it is a duty to vote for elected officials for the purpose of holding politicians and city employees accountable. 

Election day for 2021 is tomorrow!!!. Whether you vote or not local races for positions such as city council seats, mayors position of big cities or small towns and governor's races in a few states will be taking placing. In today's episode I will be highlighting the 5 major mayoral races to watch out for when watching tomorrow's elections in the United States take place from town to city. However I also place emphasis and importance on how crucial and special the Virginia Gubernatorial election taking place tomorrow truly is. In Virginia, Democratic nominee contender Terry McAuliffe, a former governor of Virginia; is running up against Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin. This Virginia Gubernatorial race in recent weeks has been super close with regards to the polls of Virginia voters. Mayoral races to watch out for are the New York City race, Buffalo New York, Atlanta race, and Minneapolis race for the Mayoral position. I almost forgot about Boston's Mayoral race between two women contenders. Voting is the most important responsibility an American citizen can uphold and practice by doing every year regardless of whether or not there is a major election happening. Many people probably have never heard of a President of the United States being able to use what is called "Executive Privilege". But Executive Privilege is actually a power of a President and Former Presidents can have and use to their discrete. Executive Privilege can be defined as asserting you are withholding particular information or secrets from investigators and any chamber of the U.S. Congress and the Judicial courts as well. Legally, there are many aspects to how a President can use his or her power of Executive Privilege while in their elected office. Though, Former President Trump is trying assert Executive Privilege on behalf of Steve Bannon, a former Trump White House official; from having to testify in front of the House of Representatives January 6th select Committee. Did you realize every President since Warren G. Harding has had the ability to choose a person to be the director of the Office of Management and Budget? The Office of Management and Budget or (OMB) as it is commonly referred to, is an essential part of our American Government we supervise or watch over every day of our lives. This central part of a President's administration or government is responsible for overseeing the placement of a President's agenda stretching all over the Executive Branch. Within this department of the federal government, OMB watches and oversees any cabinet level department budget and plan for executing and using their stated money within their fiscal year's money allocated to them from Congress. Office of Management and Budget though according to Wikpedia is the biggest office in the Executive Office of the President of The United States. Without OMB, any given President would not have a system of checks and balances with regards to his administration's usage of budgeting and regulations along with using money allocated to him by Congress or OMB. The Electoral College in the U.S. has been around and in place since the founding of America. Every four years, we vote for a new President to be elected or renew the current President by reelecting them. Essentially, the Electoral College is an important and necessary concept and election system America has in place, because it allows less populated areas in states to still have representation in the Electoral College when it comes time for citizens in those areas to vote for Presidential Candidate of their choice. North Carolina's David Price and Pennsylvania's Mike Doyle have announced they  are not going to run for another two year term to represent their congressional districts in the House of Representatives in Congress. This means more and more Democrats are realizing Republicans have a great chance of taking back the House chamber of Congress in the 22' midterm elections in the United States. However,  Representative Mike Doyle is saying he is retiring from Congress due to a pending redistricting process in his home state of Pennsylvania. Mike Doyle was first elected to Congress in 1994, and Price in 1986. That brings up the important issue of term limits for all members of Congress. Each representative in the House chamber is elected to a two year term, while in the Senate chamber of Congress a Senator is voted in for a duration of six year term. But those do not limit members of Congress from running for their position of Congress over and over and over again. Term limits for members of Congress need to be instituted, since we need a better form of government to represent us. As always keep subscribing to this podcast as you please.  

Democrats in  U.S. Congress are trying to fund the government pass December along with three other legislative priorities. They would like to raise the debt ceiling as much as they can agree with Republicans in the U.S. Senate to do just that. However, Dems have the tough road ahead relating to getting the bipartisan infrastructure bill passed in the House of Representatives, even after the U.S. Senate has already signed onto the infrastructure bill. Then there's the social radical spending reconciliation $3.5 trillion dollar bill Democrats would love to pass through both chambers of Congress, even though it is having a challenging path with some Senators such as Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona disagree with bill's components. All of this leaving Biden's agenda in a frackle or a mishandled mess for Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to clean up and work together with their members of their parties. 

A(n) US Capitol Police Whistleblower has come forward with claims relating to the leaders of US Capitol Police department mishandling of Intelligence they might have received before the Insurrection of Capitol building. If these claims are true, the claims need to be handled with the cautious and careful consideration of how they should move forward and take the US  Capitol Police department into a better direction of management. The american people rely on this police department to protect all members of Congress, no matter if a member of Congress expresses Democratic or Republican and Independent party affiliation. Members of U.S. Capitol Police are required to protect lawmakers despite what their political beliefs are or party affiliation might be. Nancy Pelosi has represented her congressional district of San Francisco which is California's 12th congressional district for House of Representatives in Congress. Pelosi has been the most powerful woman in politics in the nation for a very, very long time. She is the current Speaker of the United States of Representatives, though she has had multiple stints as Speaker of the House throughout the recent 2000's and 2010's years. You should not underestimate her regarding her will to keep power as a Speaker of the House and member of U.S. Congress for as long as she wishes and feels she can still serve her district's citizens.  Pelosi for sure has accomplished a lot of meaningful legislation during her long career in Washington D.C.. Arizona State Republican legislature wanted to conduct an election audit of their 2020 Presidential election state results. They did and the results of their audit confirm President Joe Biden affirmatively won the state of Arizona and beat former President Donald Trump in the election in regards  to Arizona. Lawmakers in this state hired a company called Cyber Ninjas, which has no experience auditing election results. Cyber Ninjas' CEO is a anti-vaxer as well a conspiracy theorist.
