On November 15th, 2022 Former president Donald Trump made his official announcement that he is running for President in 2024. He has run for President two times previously in 2016' and 2020'. Is Trump a threat to Democracy and if so how do we stop him from winning the Presidency in 2024'. Trump is a very dangerous and uncontrollable person who may stop at nothing in politics if he wins the Presidency again for a second non consecutive term in 2024'. There are many followers and supporters of his who still believe every single thing that comes out of his mouth. Why does he want to become President of the United States again? It is as simple as he thinks America has been in decline and failing under our current President Joe Biden. We'll just have to see if Trump's presidential bid comes to a halt or stop early due to a criminal charge and indictment that could potentially happen. Today's House Speaker Nancy pelosi announced on November 17th, 2022 in a speech on the House of Representatives floor that she is not seeking re-election to a leadership role in the house chamber of Congress. She will be allowing a new generation of Democrats to lead the Democratic Representatives in the house chamber for future generations to come. Pelosi has served as House minority whip, House minority leader, and Speaker of the House in multiple non-consecutive terms when being serving as Speaker of the House. If anything, she has always been a force to wrecken with in politics metaphorically of course. She might eventually retire from Congress, therefore letting a new person represent her San Francisco House Congressional district. But that's not quite happening yet. Pelosi is a great highly respected figure of American Politics, even though she can be divisive to some in America.  

Well Election day in the United States of America happened on November 8th, 2022. We are still don't have a clear winner in the House of Representatives as Republicans are 9 or 10 House seats short of the 218 seat majority they need to win the majority of the House of Representatives in Congress. Democrats according to CNN Politics are poised to keep control of Senate no matter who wins the Georgia Senate runoff race. A lot of history was made during this year's midterm elections. Who won each U.S. Senate race that was up for grabs this year? How come Republicans in Congress did not have a Red wave or a Political Tsunami that was predicted to happen on November 8th, 2022 by Republicans? All of this and more in this podcast episode. 

Republican Senator Tom Cotton who represents Arkansas in the United States Senate  has decided early that he will not run for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2024'. He cites family concerns as his reasons behind his decision to not run in the next Presidential election. Senator Cotton is a courageous and brave person for delaying his presidential ambitions if he still has any. If he doesn't have future presidential ambitions I still think he is a smart man for not running for the GOP Presidential nomination in 2024. Former President Donald Trump announced on Monday November 7th, 2022 at a Dayton, Ohio rally for U.S. Senate Candidate J.D. Vance that Trump will be having a very big announcement on Tuesday November 15th, 2022 at his home in Florida. Will he announce he is running for President in 2024'? Or is he announcing he is stepping down from Politics all together? We will have to see and find out. 

Ruth Bader Ginsburg a former Supreme Court Justice who passed away on September 18th, 2020 will be remembered by Americans through being honored on a new postage forever stamp next year. Do you remember who she is? What has her long judicial legacy been? I answer all these questions through a biography on her and who she was as a public servant. President Bill Clinton nominated Ruth Ginsburg to be an associate justice of the Supreme Court on June 22nd, 1993. The United States Senate confirmed her by a 96 to 3 vote on August 5th, 1993 and she took her judicial oath for the Supreme Court on August 10th, 1993. She wrote a lot of very famous and well known dissenting opinions in cases given to her and the other Supreme Court justices. She was known to many as the "Notorious R.B.G.". 

This year's election day is only 10 days away. It's coming faster than we ever thought it would. How do elections work? What is a "flipped seat" or a "pickup"? The Declaration of Independence is one three founding documents that created America as we know it today. This founding document was designed to make America or the thirteen colonies  its own country alone from Great Britain. The most famous line from the Declaration of Independence is the following: "We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed". It's really important to understand three questions in regards to understanding the Declaration of Independence: What does it say, How did it happen, and How was it made. This document is an essential when learning about America's founding fathers and the start of America as a country. 

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is not ruling out a 2024' Republican Presidential bid. Christie was governor of New Jersey from 2010 to 2018 even through multiple scandals such as his bridgegate scandal. He is known for his small 2016' Republican Presidential bid, eventually in 2016' helping Former President Donald Trump secure the Presidency. Chris Christie also is known to be a Trump ally throughout the Trump Presidency years. Ever since the January 6th insurrection Christie has been critical of Trump and how Trump handled the 2020 election results including the January 6th insurrection Trump started. American Voters will be casting their ballots officially in the U.S. on November 8th, 2022. Early voting in the some states within America varies throughout the country. All 435 members of the House of Representatives are up for re-election this year. While in the United States Senate there are 34 Class 3 Senate seats up for election this year. Voters also have to vote for Governors, judges, state legislators, and other state and local elected officials in their state. Who is the current White House Press Secretary for the Biden administration? The current White House Press Secretary is Karine Jean-Pierre, who has been Press Secretary for President Biden since May 13, 2022. The White House Press Secretary is the key communicator between the President of the United States and the media groups and Americans. The Press Secretary hosts what is called a White House Press briefing within the James S. Brady Briefing Room  usually on Mondays to Fridays. Without the Press Secretary the American public would not be informed on the President's schedule, any congressional updates on any major pieces of legislation, and any other major updates on foreign or domestic policy from the current Presidential administration.
