Liz Cheney is the daughter of Former Vice President Dick Cheney. She just lost her primary election to a Trump backed challenger Harriet Hageman on August 16th, 2022. In Cheney's concession speech she said her work is not done yet. So will Liz Cheney run for President against Former President Trump in 2024? We will for sure see what happens in 2024. But Liz still has more work to be done on the Select January 6th House Committee. Let's all see what happens in the near future with Liz Cheney in national and local politics. 

On August 8th, 2022 Former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-lago home was raided by the FBI who had a search warrant. But there's history leading up to this raid of Trump's home. The Presidential Records Act of 1978 was created to keep and preserve historical documents and records from past Presidential administrations. The CIA aka Central Intelligence Agency is one of many aspects of the American Intelligence community of the United States Government. This agency has been around for seventy-five years. It was first established by President Harry S. Truman when he signed into law the National Security Act of 1947 on July 26th, 1947. The CIA always will have five top priorities: counterterrorism, nonproliferation of nuclear & other weapons of mass destruction, alerting American leaders of significant foreign soil events, counter intelligence, and cyber intelligence. Since March 19th, 2021 William J. Burns has been the director of the Central Intelligence Agency. He has so far received nothing but high praise because of how great of a job he is doing as director of CIA. The United States House Select Committee investigating the January 6th 2021 attack are holding public hearings airing on TV. There have been two hearings on January 6th so far. The committee showed video footage during the first hearing on June 9th, 2022 of moments leading up to the attack on the capitol. In the video footage they showed then on June 9th were parts of the actual Insurrection attack on the Electoral Certification with a joint session of Congress featuring all members of Congress and then Vice President Mike Pence. We know January 6th 2021 as the day Democracy was nearly taken away from America. These hearings will inform the American public about how Former President Donald Trump orchestrated this attack to make sure Biden was not declared the official winner in the 2020 American Presidential election. As we all know from November 2020's election Donald Trump never officially conceded the race to President Joe Biden. The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022' or House Resolution 350 passed the House of Representatives chamber on May 18th, 2022. It is currently still in the Senate chamber waiting to be passed. This act is a big measure to prevent more domestic terrorism acts from happening on Domestic soil. There are some controversial sections in the law such as creating an interagency task force to combat white supremacist and Neo-Nazi infiltration of the military branches and federal law enforcement agencies. All of this is according to Congress.gov website. Congress.gov website is where you can find pending or upcoming legislation that is going through or in either chamber of United States Congress. This legislation should be considered another measure preventing more shootings in America as well as stopping mass shooters before they commit a horrible and disgusting crime. There's more and more speculation growing these days on whether or not President Biden will run in 2024 to be re-elected as President of America. Will he actually run again for a second four year term as President is the big question? If Biden doesn't run for a second term come 2024, then the field of potential Democratic candidates for President opens up to a big game of who can win the Democratic Presidential nomination come the summer of 2024. Also there were some election primaries and runoffs in various states including Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, and Minnesota on May 24th, 2022. For example in Georgia the incumbent Governor Brian Kemp beat ex U.S. Senator David Perdue in the Republican Governor Primary race. More election results to discuss in this episode. The question is will Biden choose to run again in 2024 for a second term as President or will he only be a one term President?  

This episode was recorded before De Blasio announced he is launching a campaign for a New York United States House seat. The former Mayor of NYC Bill De Blasio is officially running for Congress because he believes residents and voters of the 10th Congressional District of New York need a leader and a representative such as him to represent their values and core beliefs. De Blasio has certainly felt the need to do more public service even after leaving the Mayor's office on December 31st, 2021. His predecessor is the current Mayor of New York City Eric Adams. Throughout De Blasio's political career he has done excellent service and completed initiatives such as universal Pre-k. Universal Pre-k is one of his many popular initiatives and policies that was widely recognized through his time as the New York City Mayor. The question now is how do citizens in the 10th Congressional District of New York feel about Bill De Blasio running for a congressional seat to represent them? We will have to find out. 

Ever since Former President Trump left office on January 20th, 2021 Trump has tried to keep a role in United States Politics as a normal citizen outside of the White House. Trump is starting to be the Kingmaker of the Republican party when it comes to endorsing and supporting Republican political candidates. Starting with the Ohio and Indiana Primaries on May 3rd, Americans had the chance to see Trump endorsed candidates for political office win their primary election races. In Ohio on May 3rd Ohioans chose to vote and nominate JD Vance as their Republican U.S. Senate nominee out of the many other candidates in that Ohio U.S. Senate Primary race. You could speculate and say Vance won his primary race because voters liked how he was endorsed by Trump sometime in early to mid April 2022' before the actual May 3rd primary took place. Are voters choosing their prefered candidates they want to vote for on the ballot solely because Trump endorsed a certain political candidate that is on their ballot? You'll have to find out throughout all of the upcoming United States' various states' election primaries throughout all of the fifty states. 

Former Attorney General Bill Barr who served during parts of the Trump Administration, recently said the GOP will have a huge opportunity in 2024' to vote for a different Republican Presidential nominee instead of Former President Trump. Barr's statement about Republicans Presidential nominee is a warning statement to Republican party and its members certainly. The 2024' Presidential Primaries in America are a awhile away, but we still need to be considering how Republicans should elect a bipartisan Republican in 2024' as their party's Presidential Nominee. Rather than nominating Former President Donald Trump once again as the Republicans' Presidential nominee. Trump is very much a dangerous and chaotic person who should not be elected to the Oval Office and the White House ever again. The next Presidential nominee for the Republican party needs to be someone who can reach out to many voters across the two party spectrum. I hope America can avoid Trump being elected to be president of the United States of America in 2024 through kicking him out of the nomination process for the GOP and electing someone who can stand up for true American values. 

Senator Bernie Sanders who represents Vermont in the United States Senate, has not told the public media or Americans he isn't running for President in '2024. However in 2020 when Bernie suspended his campaign for the 2020 Democratic Presidential Nomination Sanders said he would not be running for President again. But circumstances in politics change for the best or worst. His closest advisor Faiz Shakir according to CNN Politics wrote a memo detailing polls showing how Bernie is still rising in popularity and name recognition especially in special election decider states. There's also the possibility Senator Bernie Sanders could ultimately challenge current President Joe Biden through a Democratic Presidential Primary in '2024. This is a very real challenge relying on the fact that the remainder of Biden's Presidential term does not go as planned or as expected. So will Biden be challenged from a Independent Caucus Democrat such as Bernie Sanders in 2024'? We will have to see and find out ourselves.
