Greetings!
We’re trying a new series, “This Week in History” brought to you by Foreign Exchanges (FX). I (Producer Jake) will choose a few interesting historical events each week based on what Derek has compiled for FX, and I’ll turn them into a mini podcast episode. Maybe I’ll end up using some of that ol’ “radio magic”, anything is possible! This will also be a series for paid subscribers, but we’re putting this first one out for everyone.
This week we find ourselves at the beginning of French colonization in the Americas and, remarkably, the conclusion of several major wars. Enjoy!
