Dribble time is back - apparently a fan favourite! Join us for another silly, goofy, light-hearted chit chat. We start off with a recap of our last episode from this series before we read some quotes from Kanye West and Homer Simpson to play a game of “Who said it?”. Turns out Kanye and Homer are more similar than you may think! We jump into a chat about sleep, share some of our most bizarre dreams and play a fun little game of would you rather, for which we have curated some tough questions to break down. Have you ever stopped to think about how powerful words really are? Words make up the vows at a wedding, famous speeches that have initiated revolutionary movements, laws that govern our society, knowledge that fills textbooks and importantly everyday language that we use to communicate our thoughts, feelings and emotions with ourselves and others.

Our internal monologue is written by the words we know and overtime the expressions we use tend to become habitual. We may not even notice if we often label ourselves as “stupid” or “dumb” or use self-critical language such as "I should do this" or "I must do this". It's very easy to speak negatively about ourselves and we are often our harshest life critics. How can we gradually rewrite these habits?

In today's episode we get chatting about self worth and how self-talk can influence that. We speak about language, dissect why it's often difficult for us to speak highly of ourselves and how our self worth can often be defined by external sources. The thing is, we are all good enough. So the question becomes, how can we help ourselves believe that? Listen in to hear our tips!

Now, this idea has and will continue to be pondered forever. Some of us may find this question confronting or flat out stupid and don’t worry, we are here for all of those responses. This is a hard topic to digest and of course we are by no means philosophers with all, or any, answers but nevertheless we find these topics 'interesting' and rich with perspectives.

For many of us, our reason for being is defined by our values and goals, for others maybe we believe life has supernatural or inexplainable meaning and for some life has no meaning at all. Perhaps our upbringing or the social and cultural environments we are surrounded by heavily influence these perceptions, or maybe they don’t. Dive into some rabbit holes with us as we reflect upon one of life's biggest mysteries.

Life in our 20’s can sometimes feel confusing as we transition from school to full-time work, further study, travel plans or maybe just vibing. Perhaps these plans and passions can feel at odds with one another at any one time. If you are a person with many different interests and creative pursuits in life, then you may be a ‘multipotentialite’.

In this episode we unpack the term and discuss its relation to our own academic and career experiences. By seeking to identify if we are multipotentialites we aim to understand how we can use this to our advantage. Ultimately, we hope to alleviate an area of potential anxiety by understanding 3 core strengths of being multipassionate and how leveraging these skills can help us forge our own career paths.
