We made it to the end of Season 1 together. Bravo! What a journey! But is it over? Not exactly. There’s so many things to talk about!

As we wrap up Season 1 of this courageous journey, Jonathan reminds his listeners to be mindful of their gestures, not only to themselves, but to other people daily. Listen in as Jonathan talks about respecting boundaries, being mindful of one’s comfort zone, breaking down societal norms, and to always do things the way you want to do it, without being pressured by anyone else to be like others. Above it all, always remember to be kind and to spread as much unbearable love as you can. Most importantly, just remember to be you, because being you is always okay, and no validation is ever needed.

Listen in as Javier talks about his path of finding his calling as an Actor, how acting found him again after several attempts of giving it up, how he overcame financial instability in his early years, how he lived and relived the one place where he closed the big fat book that opened during the height of his battle of testing positive for HIV AIDS, and so much more. In this day and age, the majority of us work with therapists to iron out the many challenges that life presents to us in our everyday lives. Some of use therapy to provide clarity on personal struggles and others may use it for work struggles. There are so many other reasons as well. No matter the reason that you see a therapist, one thing that we can all agree on is that there may have been some aspect of that session that has provided clarity in our own lives.

Do you know the feeling you get when you have suffered an unimaginable loss of a loved one? What about the struggle of becoming a single parent?

Tune in as theatre director, performing artist, and dramaturg Melissa Flower Gladney dives head first into the traumatic loss of her husband that she has dealt with, the grief that consumed her at the time, how it inspired her to make a play in his memory, and how she has been able to emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually manage this loss going into her future. 

In this interview, Melissa also talks about the struggles of becoming a single mother and how loss and becoming a single mom has shaped the trajectory of her life. Finally, Melissa shares her opinion on how grief and trauma should be handled when trying to manage it.

Lastly, Annemarie talks about how she is now in the process of creating an aerial piece that celebrates her 10th year being in remission from cancer!

Have you ever lost a loved one from suicide? Are you struggling from it now? You may not be the only one struggling with this type of grief. Here to kick us off with the debut of Part 2 is Founder and President of The Waffles Foundation, Alfred Bahna.

Having lost his son in 2019 from suicide, Alfred Bahna talks about how he and his wife have been dealing with the grief of losing their only son Matthew Bahna (a.k.a. Waffles) who was a well-known musician in their community. After losing his son, Alfred talks about how he wanted to do something to commemorate Matthew's name leading to the founding of his 501 (c) (3) not for profit. Alfred talks about his not for profit, what is means to him and his wife to have started it, and how it has changed lives for other people in his community upon its founding.
