Jackie, a passionate fan art artist hailing from Newark, NJ. Growing up, anime was her constant companion thanks to her sister's influence, a fascination which she carried through adulthood. Life wasn't always easy. Sheltered by her protective mother and surviving a near kidnapping as a child, Jackie saw the world through innocent eyes until she encountered the harsh realities of microaggressions and racism. Despite facing adversity, especially from a school teacher, Jackie's introverted nature became her sanctuary for processing trauma. But life had other plans, and the need to cover veterinary bills for her ailing dog led her on a path to entrepreneurship. Berivan Altun, the visionary behind 'Roj Floral Studio.' Her journey growing up in Turkey was marred by prejudice in the hands of her peers and her teachers due to her Kurdish heritage. This narrative continued even after her family's move to London. Separated from her mother for five arduous years due to immigration issues, she encountered the trials of assimilation in her new homeland. This further deepened her introversion, seeking refuge in her school's restroom during breaks alone.    

Her yearning for travel was curtailed by the pandemic's unexpected arrival. In its wake, Berivan gracefully pivoted, and started working for an event company. It was here that the world of floral arrangements unveiled its magic to her. With each bloom, she rediscovered her passion, kindling the creation of 'Roj Floral Studio' a haven for bespoke floral creations for every occasion, alongside captivating flower arrangement workshops.
