Welcome to 2023 you beautiful souls. 

And what a way to start the year with this beautiful conversation with Sarah Fleetwood. Her journey out of a deeply challenging relationship resonates deeply with me and my own similar journey. I just love how Sarah shares the magnitude of simple shifts and the time that these changes took to deeply root in and support her in changing her inner critic stories. 

If you are someone who might be aware of the negative self talk and how it's holding you back, but you aren't really sure where to go now, then listen in. We share the importance of recognising our highest values and if that is what we are actually valuing through the actions in our life? Where can we take responsibility for the creation or magnification of repeating patterns and behaviours. 

And my favourite - the magic of resourcing yourself through the things that you love. It's an angle of self love not often talked about, what things bring us joy and pleasure? how can we PLAY more, have more fun, be more in our bodies and in the moment? What does this do for us, other than stress relief? It gives us access to a part of ourselves outside our inner critic, where we are resourced, powerful, loving and THAT space allows us to make new choices.

Recording this was such a blessing for me - a beautiful reminder to create intentional spaces of rest in my day, no matter how busy it is. This particularly resonated with me recording in the midst of the silly season, with Christmas, end of year, birthdays and the brilliance of summer all vying for time and attention. 

I invite you to create 5-10mins today, anywhere - when you wake up, while having coffee, sit in the park for lunch, when you hop in the car after work - to just BE, without scrolling, without doing, just to sit (or lay down) with yourself and practice rest and intentionality. Of course if you want longer in this deliciousness, please go for it. 

Join myself and Sabrina Oliver as she takes us through some lifechanging health challenges and how with courageous spirit she sought another way to breathe LIFE into herself and her world, through the power of rest and being deeply in tune with herself, her body and her needs. What a juicy conversation with Eleanor Crawford. She has so much of her life to share, so much wisdom and spending this time chatting with so filled with grace, nuggets and boundless compassion. 

She shares vulnerably and powerfully about some of her biggest challenges and turning points and how it lead into a rediscovery of self, authenticity, creativity and so much more joy. Taking radical self-responsibility for where she was and the life that she had created, doused with compassion for self and a determination to begin to experience life differently and share that with the world has lead to a more joyful life, where she can now create an impact. I so love hearing her talk about her newly coined 4 R's of Reformation. Simple and yet what a way to reset ourselves. 

We share about emotions and language as energy and how conscious awareness of this can create tremendous impact. I do mention an experiment that was done some years ago. I had no recollection of date or by who at the time of recording, but if you are interested - check out dr. Masaru Emoto and water consciousness, and hold front of mind that a large percentage of our bodies is water.

Have you ever experienced a time where your head and your heart are in disagreement- where one is telling you one thing, and the other, the opposite? It can be really challenging to know what is truly in alignment with us and what is coming out of fear or old traumas and patterns.  It can be really challenging to believe and understand how living in alignment with yourself, your deeper wisdom and your purpose is for the highest good of yourself, all those in your life and those you are wishing to impact, even when some of the voices around you are telling you otherwise.

I so love this conversation I had with Kristin Nelson as we dive into her experience of letting go of a business that she worked so hard to create, not because it wasn't successful, but because she realised that her old story of success looked like no longer aligned with who she was and the life she wanted to create. In this episode we look at some of the challenges that came up in making this choice and some of the ways in which Kristin has cultivated support from herself and her family in ongoing ways. In this honest, relatable conversation about the ways in which we muck up even while knowing better, ignore ourselves when we are bodies are so damn wise and get caught in all the feelings, we discover just how valuable and necessary these experiences are as opportunities for continued practice in deepening the connection and healing with ourselves and our loved ones around us.

I'm super excited to share this first episode with you. Are you someone who has a deep yearning to live a life of purpose, impact, freedom and abundance? Are you also stuck in cycles of overwhelm from taking on too much, only to swing into complete procrastination, avoidance and inaction and then feel frustrated, confused and annoyed at yourself that you just can't seem to get out of your way. If this is you, you are absolutely not alone.

For both Shana and I, one of our biggest breakthroughs in our own journey's came from experiences of finally realising that we weren't alone in our struggles, in our experiences of failure, of how the experience of failing or even the fear of failing kept us stuck in shame and unable to move towards our dreams in any real way. At the time we had felt broken and yet, having others share their experiences and realise they echoed our own opened up space and possibility like never before. We weren't broken. We were Human. 

When I discovered that she had a similar experience, as did so many other women, I decided I wanted to create a space to share our stories, to bare ourselves powerfully and vulnerably in hope that it might touch others in the way it did me. A space where we can celebrate all our failures as messy, beautiful, essential parts of growth. 

Join Shana and I as we dive into one of her biggest experiences of failure, and what that felt like on the inside, the thoughts that we so rarely share or get to see in others. It's always easy in the midst of breakdown to lose hope of living the life you deeply sense is possible for you and so we take a good look at what shifts she made to get from that space to where she is now - An incredible woman, coach and entrepreneur empowered to show up imperfectly, courageously taking action despite the fear, trusting herself that she can cope with whatever the results.
