This week we’ve been looking at why we should be thankful God didn’t use evolution. Well, here’s number five: with God’s Word we have an unchanging framework through which we can interpret the world.
The evolutionary worldview changes constantly as new evidence is found and interpreted in ways that over overturn previous ideas. Evolution is built on shifting sand.
But God’s Word provides an unchanging framework we can use to interpret the evidence. Though the models we build based on Scripture change, the framework of a recent creation and a global flood doesn’t change. We have a firm foundation on which to base our thinking.
