What the Dardeens lacked in money, they made up for with love. Russell “Keith” Dardeen lived with his 3-year-old son, Peter, and his pregnant wife, Ruby Elaine, in a small trailer by the train tracks. But with the baby due in a couple of months, it was time they moved on to something bigger.
But there was another reason Keith wanted to move. He was afraid.
