What if Anakin had shown up to Luke Skywalker on Dagobah with Yoda? How is this possible, you ask? Well, in the original screenplay for The Empire Strikes Back, George Lucas was going to have Anakin Skywalker be a different character than Darth Vader. This would have made Obi-Wan Kenobi's lie to Luke, about his father being killed by Vader, true. It was later changed of course, and we got Vader dropping the line "NO! I AM YOUR FATHER!" which still shocks Star Wars fans who watch Empire for the first time.
