Rumours have been floating around saying Anakin will return...but we've had those rumours with episode 8 as well solely based on concept art...however now that JJ is returning to finish what he started, then I think Anakin Skywalker showing up is possible...if it is...then here's what I think his purpose will be in today's Star Wars Theory.
