C.S. Lewis once famously wrote that the existence of a desire signals the potential for that desire to be satisfied. If there is an itch, there must be such a thing as a scratch. The problem begins when we try to satisfy the right desires with the wrong things. What do you feel when you think about prayer?

For many of us the idea of prayer conjures up feelings of guilt and shame. But Scripture tells another story. 

Prayer is an invitation to lift heart and mind to God and the place where we are formed most intimately into the image of Jesus.
