This is the conclusion to our two-part story on Heather Teague, who went missing from Newburgh Beach in Kentucky on August 26, 1995. In this episode, we discuss questions surrounding the actual identity of her abductor. Was Marty Dill actually as good of a physical match as he seemed? We also delve into the other person in the trailer with Marty Dill, his uncle, former police officer Ernest Green. Was Heather’s disappearance a random abduction, or was she caught up in Henderson’s seedy, corrupt underbelly? 25 years after she disappeared, there are still questions that need to be answered: namely, what is going on in the small town of Henderson, Kentucky? You can view a full list of sources along with photos on our website: andthentheyweregone.comSOURCES: Findheatherteague.com INVESTIGATIVE SUMMARY Findings of Misconduct by a then Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge for Sexual Harassment, Failure to Report an Intimate Relationship with a Subordinate, and Lack of Candor Henderson female officer files federal bias complaint Teague V. On August 26, 1995, 23-year-old Heather Teague was sunbathing on Newburgh Beach in Henderson County, Kentucky. She was enjoying her Saturday afternoon when all of a sudden a man in cut-off jeans and no shirt appeared and grabbed her by the hair, dragging her backwards into the woods. The only witness to the abduction? A man across the river watching through the lens of a telescope. This may sound like the beginning of a horror movie, but unfortunately, it was the very real beginning to a case that has led to more questions than answers over the past 25 years. With drugs, prostitution, and government corruption, this story needs to be told in two episodes. This is part one. Part two will be available next week. .
