Now your dog can join in on your engagement celebration!

Bespoke Jewelry brand Taylor & Hart has created a new range of pendants for your dog to match your engagement ring.

“Dogs may not be our whole lives, but they make our lives whole,” the company said. “It’s no wonder we want them to be a part of our human romances, weddings, and proposals.”

The doggy pendants from the UK based Jewelry store start at $500 and can be added to your dog’s collar. The pendants can be engraved as well as have gems and diamonds added to look like your engagement ring.

Kate Earlam-Charnley, Design Director of Taylor & Hart said, “We know how important dogs are to families and couples and understand that the bond you have is every bit as real as your human love. As a dog owner (and lover!), I’m incredibly proud that we’re launching this brand new product that honors mankind’s most ancient bond. After all, our furry best friends deserve to shine just as bright as we do!”

A recent study by Taylor & Hart found that 30% of pet owners plan or have had their dog involved in their wedding proposal.

The survey also showed that over half of the customers have a dog with their partner. More than 60% want to have their dog take part in their wedding day activities.

The Phillies met up with Brigantine Community School students on Thursday to surprise a cherished teacher.

Mindy Pomatto, who has taught physically education at the New Jersey school for the last 19 years thought she was arriving at the track for a field day. Little did she know, she would be welcomed by Phillies ambassador Scott Palmer, the Phillies Ballgirls and 400 of her students. They were all there to recognize Pomatto on being chosen as a Phillies All-Star Teacher.

The former Phillies All-Star Mickey was also in attendance as well as the Brigantine Police and Fire Department. The Phillies Phanatic got the celebration going by leading an All-Star workout for everyone.

“It’s like a dream, this isn’t even real,” Pomatto said according to Phillies.com. “I can’t get over this. Everyone I love, all in the same spot. It’s great.”

Brian Feehan, a retired police officer nominated Pomatto for the honor and she was picked out of more than 500 teachers. Each nominee was shown appreciation by parents, students, and colleagues in the Philadelphia area for all of their hard work in the classroom.

“She is a very passionate teacher. There are some great teachers in these schools – she always raises the bar, motivates teachers, students and community members to be better people,” he said about his friend according to 6ABC.

Pomatto is one of ten teachers who will be recognized on the 21st Teacher Appreciation Night tonight at Citizens Bank Park.

“I’ve never felt under appreciated here. We are one team on this island, everyone here works together so well,” she said. “I’m happy every day coming into work. This is just amazing.”
