Andie & Dave announced the 21st Annual Toy Truck Parade this morning...
The 21st Annual XTU Toy Truck Parade is happening on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Xfinity Live Parking lot in South Philly.
This year, it will be a little different. Since Covid-19 will not us allow us to have large gatherings, we are going to do a Toy Truck Drive-Thru. XTU will be on site at the Xfinity Live parking lot between 8am-1pm. You can decorate your truck/vehicle, and make your way down to Xfinity Live. We will still judge the best decorated trucks and award them a prize at a later time. You can pull into the lot, drop off your donation, take a photo, and then be on your way. We wish we could hold a huge parade like in year's past but with the pandemic happening, we just can't risk our listeners and staff's health and safety.
XTU on air personalities will be on site to help unload toys along with members of the Liberty USO and representatives of the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Have you ever had an interaction with a celebrity?
Our producer Donnie is a fan of this show Kingdom and one of the actors on the show named Jonathan Tucker. Donnie decided to DM him on Instagram and let him know he was a big fan and to keep up the great work. Now, Jonathan Tucker has 224,000 followers on Instagram so Donnie did not expect a response but Jonathan responded... with a personal video!

A woman created a study for age gaps in relationships that are more socially acceptable. (Just a quick point: We are not judging anyone's relationship, we just found a study and are giving the facts.)
According to the rule, you divide your age by two and then add seven to calculate the "socially acceptable" minimum age for a partner.

Do you share who you voted for with your significant other? We have heard stories about couples that argue over it, couples that keep it a secret and couples who don't mind if they vote for opposite candidates.
How do you and your significant other handle the voting process?

Have you worked in retail? Whether it's a clothing store, department store, grocery store, hardware store, a mall...
What are some of things that customers do that bother you? We asked XTU Nation and we received some funny responses!

We are not asking who you voted for, what side you are on, we are just asking how the voting process went for you... Was it super crowded? Were people in line angry, was there live entertainment outside of your polling location?

Yesterday, we held XTU's Virtual Celebration Luncheon where we celebrate and honor the brave warriors who have had to deal with breast cancer. We heard from Dr. Abou Hussein from MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, and our special guest country star Ashley McBryde performed a few songs for our guests.
That was not the only thing that happened. A guy named Jim nominated his girlfriend Karen who dealt with breast cancer... During the Luncheon, Jim decided this was the time to propose to his long term sweetheart. She said yes!!
We got them on the phone this morning and talked about the proposal and their relationship!

A single foster dad named Robert Carter started fostering three boys in December of 2019... in Robert Jr., Giovanni and Kiontae. He later found out that the brothers had two sisters Marionna and Makayla, who were also in the foster system.
Carter said he grew up in foster care, and was separated for years from his siblings. He didn't want the children to experience what he went through.
He decided to adopt the 3 boys and their 2 sisters... He was quoted saying
“Every night I talk to them and let them know, ‘I’m your dad forever. I know what it’s like and I’m always here for you, I’m here for them no matter what.”
