There is a huge women's movement in country music right now.  So many amazing artists and one of the women leading the charge is Ingrid Andress! We spoke to her about her bond with the other ladies of country music, her new album Ladylike, and all her award nominations.  This girl is an absolute firecracker!

A woman named Crystal MacDonald from Attleboro, Massachusetts was having a rough time.

She has a daughter with autism and her daughter stopped eating any kind of food except SpaghettiOs. Crystal went to the food store but they were all out of SpaghettiOs and her daughter was just not eating.  

She went on to say "Before the pandemic, she would eat a few other types of foods like cheese pizza, yogurt and grilled cheese. Once she lost her routine of school, and like so many people with autism, routine is vital to their mental health, she stopped eating other foods. I think the predictability of the texture and taste of the SpaghettiOs brings a sense of control and comfort to her in this time of chaos."

In early August, her local newspaper mentioned MacDonald in a story about people's experiences with food shortages. After that, she received a ton of support from her community.  From tips on where to find the product to massive can donations. Even the Campbell's Soup Company saw the story and donated a year's worth of SpaghettiOs to the MacDonald family.  What a heartwarming story!

Did you hear the story about the father who shielded his kids in a shootout last night? 

Anthony Jefferson was with his 3 sons at a car dealership when a shootout occurred.  He was wounded but his children were not because he jumped on top of his three kids when bullets started flying.  

It was reported that he lost his job due to his injuries.  

A GoFundMe for him was started after somebody heard about his story and  the page has garnered $273,891 so far.

Blake Shelton was the Ellen show recently and said that his hair has turned completely gray during quarantine. He tried Just For Men to get the gray out and he was not doing it correctly so he is going to have Gwen take care of it for him.

One of our longtime listeners, Bob from Northeast Philly, called in and said he has been trying to get the skunk smell off his pooches because they were skunked last night.  We then wanted to ask XTU Nation to see if they had any remedies that they use to de-skunk their dog.
