A big mistake I see so many people make when it comes to achieving their goals, dealing with stress, anxiety, and managing their emotions in general, is they don’t make the effort to generate positive emotions. And as a result, they live in an unbalanced, chaotic, and unpredictable world of emotions.
Look, I'm not perfect either! So no hard feelings here, but be honest with yourself and ask if you're living in a more reactive state of mind or a proactive state of mind.
Some people get stuck going through the motions of life, maybe they’re not as happy as they could be, they know there’s more to life, they’re not truly feeling alive every day, living with joy, gratitude, purpose, and peace of mind, but luckily we can train our emotional intelligence and by adopting a few simple healthy habits, we can completely rewire our behaviors to generate more positive emotions.
