Andrew Low came to Savannah, Georgia to work at his uncle's cotton firm as a teenager. Through the years Low became one of the wealthiest men in the area. Like most prominent businessmen Low lived a double life and wound up cheating on his wife, Juliette Gordon Low, who would go onto form the Girl Scouts.

Numerous people died in the home and the mansion is said to be bustling with paranormal activity. Several different ghosts have been spotted in the house and staff members regularly talk of weird and unexplainable things that happen.
