Since 1995, I have been making comfrey salve for healing – an ointment made from a magical herb, the jack-of-all-healing if you will, up there with lavender and rosemary!

Since moving into our current house in 2013, we've grow our own magical comfrey, harvest it, dry it, steep it, and make the healing salve with it. It's a long process, than can last for months and months, and what I meant to say in this podcast and failed to, is how that is such a fun bonus for me – the pride and joy of the length of time it takes to make something like this, really gives you a deeper satisfaction!

I also meant to go back and give props to Mary O'Brien, a local herbalist (along with Susan Mead whom I did mention and got my plant from) who held a workshop for us in 2012 to help refresh my memory on making this magical ally!
