Rosa Rubio is a real-life superhero. Educated at Trinity Christian College, she received her Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in education. She is currently the Community Program Coordinator for Gads Hill Center where she oversees multiple programs educating families in physical, mental, and financial health. I interned for her for a couple of months where I saw firsthand how dedicated she is to her job, programs, and families. Check out her projects through Gads Hill Center. 

Vlad Fernandez is the Coordinator for Advising and Outreach at Northeastern Illinois University. He made me fall in love with my school again and I have been there for a year already. He got his undergrad from UIC where he also began his 25 years of working in higher education. We talk about school, business, and his life among other things. If I have not convinced you to come to school with me then this man can do it. I swear by NEIU's ability to be a great school. Come to school with me, join my fraternity Alpha Psi Lambda, and play me in basketball.

Cindy is my president at Rho Chapter of Alpha Psi Lambda. She is wildly intelligent, is a strong leader, and I believe can succeed in any situation. She is almost finished with her master's program getting her M.A.T. in elementary education. She explains her journey from high school to almost being a school teacher herself. If you want to go to college, come to Northeastern Illinois University and join Alpha Psi Lambda. We are the first and largest co-ed Latinx-based organization, established on February 11, 1985. You will be with some good company if you do.

Julio is a fellow senior at Northeastern Illinois University. He is the most dedicated young person I have met so far and takes care of business like no one else. He began the Investment Society as a sophomore and is well versed in different investment vehicles. He will be an important businessman in the near future and I wish him all the success possible.

Kristen Mackie is a young legend with 40 years of experience directing stage productions. She directed my three shows at Guerin Prep where she worked teaching English and Theatre classes for 32 years, one of which we performed at Illinois State for the Illinois High School Theatrefest. She served on the board of the Illinois Theatre Association in several positions including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Secondary Division Chair. If anyone needs help on how to direct, she is the person to call. 

Dr. Agopian has a story he describes as a series of fortunate events. He got his Bachelor's degree from Haigazian University, Master's degree from Lebanese American University, and Doctorate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and currently holds the greatest mustache of the 21st century. His doctoral dissertation employed a mixed-methods approach to explore how market mavens present their expertise on social media. He was my marketing professor and is incredibly knowledgeable of the nuance that goes on behind the scenes with companies.  He has one of the most interesting stories I have ever heard and is a fantastic interview. 

Dr. Robert Cook is an incredibly bright young professor at Northeastern Illinois University College of Business and Technology where he teaches Quantitative Management courses. He has his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees all from the University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa, ROLL TIDE. He is an avid foodie, enjoys time outdoors, and enjoys reading. Although admittedly, he rarely has free time. This episode is long because he has so many interesting stories to tell and each one is more interesting than the last.

Chef Jack Wynne is a 30 year veteran of the culinary world. He began as a dishwasher and worked his way up to chef de cuisine of two different restaurants. He began his career in Detroit and made his way to Chicago, Japan, and Seattle. He is a wealth of knowledge of cooking and culinary, and is a fantastic guest. The microphone seemed a bit odd, but his personality and wisdom still shine through. He has big things coming in the new year, and when they show up, we will promote them. 

Alejandra Sanchez is the Northeastern Illinois University Relations Coordinator and inner-city human resources & management major student. Alejandra is the point person for a new product our school is using called Handshake. Handshake is the #1 way college students find internships and jobs right out of college. It is new to the college of business in that they rolled it out a couple of months ago. I personally know one person who found a job 3 months before he graduated and they paid for him to relocate.
