  • Judges Ep. 2. When Israel Forgot | Verse by Verse Bible Study
The Bible Study analyzes Judges chapter two, focusing on the angel of the Lord's appearance at Bochim and the subsequent cycle of Israel's spiritual decline. It highlights how the people's disobedience in failing to drive out the Canaanites led to God withholding His protective judgment, resulting in military defeats and oppression. The text describes a downward spiral where each generation forgot God's works, turned to idolatry, and only sought deliverance when suffering, yet failed to repent at its root cause- idolatry. This pattern establishes a generational test of faithfulness, illustrating that true obedience requires addressing heart issues rather than merely praying for relief from consequences. Ultimately, the passage serves as a warning against spiritual apathy and a call to examine one's own sins before God.

  • Fear Not
The sermon begins with an update from missionary Brother Allen regarding his work in Soroti, Uganda, where he and his team plant churches and support orphans through the SOAP ministry. The speaker then transitions to a biblical study on overcoming fear by examining Mary's response to the angel Gabriel in Luke 1. The central message emphasizes that believers should not live in fear of the unknown but instead surrender their plans to God's providence, trusting that He can accomplish the impossible. The transcript concludes with a call to faith and prayer for those facing personal anxieties or life disruptions.

  • A Ransom For A Number
For any to be numbered among the people of God there must be a ransom. A redemption price must be paid for their souls, otherwise it is just presumption and pride.

  • Philip And The Ethiopian God-Fearer
Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, "Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza." 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means "queen of the Ethiopians"). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet. 29 The Spirit told Philip, "Go to that chariot and stay near it." 30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. "Do you understand what you are reading?" Philip asked. 31 "How can I," he said, "unless someone explains it to me?" So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading: "He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 33 In his humiliation he was deprived of justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth." 34 The eunuch asked Philip, "Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?" 35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. 36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?" 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.

  • Lessons from Babylon: Spiritual War
How do we think about angels in the world today? This sermon explores Daniel chapter 10 to illuminate the reality of spiritual warfare and its intersection with global politics. The preacher warns against two extremes: attributing all sin to demonic influence or ignoring the spiritual realm entirely, urging believers to maintain a balanced view of personal responsibility and divine power. By examining the vision of the glorious messenger and the conflict with the prince of Persia, the text highlights God's sovereignty despite apparent delays in His plans. The message emphasizes that while God is holy and terrifyingly powerful, He offers profound mercy through Jesus Christ, allowing believers to stand before Him. Ultimately, Christians are called to engage in spiritual battles through prayer, Bible study, and faithful obedience in their daily lives and societal structures.

  • What Happens When We Die Pt.2
The sermon contrasts the hopeless fate of the lost with the blessed hope available to believers through Jesus Christ. Drawing from Luke 16 and 1 Corinthians 15, it explains that upon death, a Christian's soul is escorted by angels to heaven while their body rests in the grave until the resurrection. The preacher emphasizes that death holds no sting for those in Christ because He has secured victory over sin and the grave. Additionally, the message outlines the future rapture and the eternal glory of the New Jerusalem, offering comfort and assurance to believers facing mortality. Ultimately, it urges listeners to find peace in these biblical promises rather than fear the end of life.
