Fewer Christians today believe that Satan is a person, rather that he is an impersonal force. But the Bible has another view, that Satan, angels, and fallen angels are all creatures made by God, that they are quite real, and that they are involved in human history.

What is the history of these spiritual beings? How important is it that we understand their role in God’s plan for humanity? What do the Church fathers and modern apologists like C. S. Lewis have to say about them?
