But some species are endangered, and others are being threatened by disease. A small mammal biologist with Vermont Fish and Wildlife studies the bat species in our region. She’ll share fun facts about bats, and explain why they’re so important.
We’ll also talk with a bat rehabilitator and founder of the Vermont Bat Center. He’ll tell us how to help injured or orphaned, or trapped bats.
