Animation Destination

It's time to talk about a show that is taking a real cult following (pun intended) in the anime community. A Chinese Donghua (Anime) adapted from a web novel about a group of magic using detectives as they solve crimes and mysteries in a steampunk Post-Victorian world as they combat eldritch, gothic horrors. It's AWESOME. Let's toon in to Lord of Mysteries season 1 and the 3 specials from this June!

The Amazing Digital Circus was the first independent model from GLITCH and written and created by indie animator Gooseworx. And it came to a huge end with a theatrical release, a ton of lame controversy, and what I consider a near perfect ending to a project. Let's toon in for Amazing Digital Circus!

We are back from our Summer Break! Didn't mean to take all of June off but it was a bit of a vacation for me and now I'm back and ready to talk about a ton of stuff and to start off we have Annecy 2026 and all the announcements from Adult Swim, Disney, Dreamworks and Warner Bros. A huge slate of things to get through so lets get Toon'd back in!

GLITCH dropped their latest show pilot premiere GAMEOVERSE last week and we're here to talk about it along with the production model that GLITCH has seemingly perfected with it's shows and pilots. I've been a follower of Ross and Arin's youtube content for a long time so seeing this finally come to life has been wonderful. Toon in now!

This week Ricky Vang returns for a big discussion about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 the start of the Culling Game Arc! Yuji vs. Yuta, Megumi vs. Reggie and of course... Maki vs EVERYONE. This season was a visual splendor and a triumph of the medium. I eagerly await the rest of this arc and all the crazy things to come from the Manga. Toon in now!

We are back to talking about Star Wars as the latest animated adventure has hit, Maul: Shadow Lord. Taking place between the end of Clone Wars and the start of Star Wars Rebels and all the dark things Maul has gotten up-to sense the fall of Mandalor. Let's Toon in and check out this villain's story!

We are back to Genndy Tartakovsky's PRIMAL on Adult Swim this week on Animation Destination and we have special guest from The Cartoon Chronicles Podcast Julian Hester is on the show today. Toon in and listen to us geek out about a near peak season of animation as we cover Primal Season 3!

Season 4 of Invincible has wrapped and the AD crew has a lot to say! The Viltrumite War has kicked off and even wraps up in this season but we are left in a spot that is far beyond any situation I ever assumed we would be from the start of this show. Thragg is a problem and the finale of this season is CRAZY. Let's toon in!

I sat down and blasted through Re:Zero for the first time and I have a lot to say! Me and Ricky Vang of the Spoiler Force Podcast jam about our experience with Re:Zero the same week that Season 4 is about to premiere! So sit back and have a listen as we praise the first 3 seasons of this isekai hit!

We are back to the world of Frieren with season 2 of the journey beyond the journey! That's right one of my all time favorite anime is back for another season and I couldn't be more happy with how good the return has been. With less than half the episodes of season 1 we still get high quality. Toon in now!
