Do you want a show that does the bare minimum to satisfy these interests? Then perhaps Iwa Kakeru is for you! This week, Sam and Will take 8 minutes to get started, discuss the elephant in the room and at some point, discuss some anime. Does this underdog story have what it takes to get into the Aniverse!

However, everything is not as it seems and Naofumi soon realises he's in way over his head... 1 hr 12 min - 86 EIGHTY-SIX - How to EXPOSIT like a noob? This week we explore a show Sam has been waiting to show Will for an age, and he couldn't wait until episode 86... appalling behaviour! This show is a Mecha which means it's an automatic win for Sam, but throughout the discussion there's quite a bit that grates on Will. From the unrealistic movements of the Mecha to the character's motivations and personalities themselves, can Sam do enough to convince Will of this show's prowess?

1 hr 19 min - My Dress-Up Darling - Hot girl likes nerdy boy? WHAAAA?!This week we look at the romance comedy anime that is My Dress-Up Darling! A very sexual show about adolescent hormones, revolving around a Hina Doll enthusiast who befriends a cosplay enthusiast in an effort to help her design the perfect cosplay outfit! Will really doesn't know how to feel about this show, which is to it's credit, as something this saucy would usually get knocked out in act 1, but does this show have something special?

1 hr 18 min - Avatar: the Last Airbender (Book 3) - The WRONG way to end the series! This week we discuss the final part of Avatar the last Airbender, and boy is this one a controversial one! Will pitches his opinion that this final season is nothing but filler, and Sam tries his hardest to dispute it. Will pitches his other opinion that the season should have an alternate ending which for the most part, Sam seems to agree with. All in all, despite loving Avatar in general, it's fair to say Will has his issues with book three.

1 hr 19 min - Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress -TITANS but smaller and glowy…This week we look at the gory, the epic, the downright apocalyptic zombie anime of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress! About Anime Against the World
From the publisher's feed
Know anything about anime? Because Will certainly didn't, until his anime-loving, best bud moved his butt all the way from the UK to Japan! As a way to keep in touch, our hosts decided to set up a…
podcast! What's the theme you ask? Well, originally it was all about teaching the novice Will all about anime, and there is a substantial back log of episodes focussed on just this for you to enjoy! This was also under the name Gateway to the Aniverse, so you may come across that title from time to time... Nowadays however, the boys have diversified somewhat, since obviously Will has been promoted to Hobby Weeb, and everyone is welcome! Anime, of course, is still a core part of the show, but it is now much more open ended and honestly, who knows what they will talk about week to week. Hopefully it's entertaining if nothing else, and we hope you can get on board with this weird pen pal podcast and join the Anime community in their battle Against the World!
