I thought it was time to discuss a favourite of mine I know so well off by heart. Looking at what anime I've covered so far realised I had not covered magical girl what a great excuse to discuss finally one of the first fifteen anime I have seen.

Suzume overtook my 20th episode but we're here to discuss a winter seasonal that showed to us it was a dark horse fairytale that was sure to give me cavities. Interestingly we are introduced to a balance of sugary goodness and the not good candy in this hidden gem I thought of the winter 2023.

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. I promised for this episode a seasonal but the powers of nature didn't have that in store for me. The calling of Shinkai's newest film had to be met and my anticipation could not handle the wait. Had to discuss this and what better chance to on the 20th episode for the podcast! Suzume is many things with old Shinkai here and a new Shinkai emerges with fresh ideas. Now I have split this episode into two parts first half spoiler free and the second half spoilers which come in at 39:30. If you listen to the whole thing well good on you spoilers or not haha.

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. I normally don't have a theme for my episodes but this one is a special dedicate to a blogger friend of mine Scott from Mechanical Anime Reviews. He runs a annual event known as Mecha March every year where it's all about the mecha and happy to get something out dedicating to this yearly event. Where I have ventured for a simple mecha series that would be a grand introduction for others into the overwhelming mecha world where it draws on the 'simple life' and is a dearly big favourite of mine.

Welcome to the 18th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. No love focused for love month as I did that last month but time to take a seat back with Venice and water ooo giving hints here. My first completed anime of 2023 and was certainly right the choice here. This anime has a powerful ability to make you feel the calm and serene you maybe seeking from the stress of your mind and I implore you to expand outside your horizon and give a shot!

Until one random fanart piece lead me to this unseen seasonal from last year which didn't reach people's radars. One of those watches which was a joy to discover and that Isekai does have other offerings than what is on the table usually.

A long time ago in 2015 there was a war between two series that were so similar and the outrage over it was hysterical to me. I never thought I'd end up loving one of the two, let alone as a romance fan giving me a satisfactory need that we all just want in the end sometimes. I recently rewatched this favourite and so does it still live up to that same conclusive feeling from ions ago. . .
