Anime One At A Time

Welcome to the 21th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. Suzume overtook my 20th episode but we're here to discuss a winter seasonal that showed to us it was a dark horse fairytale that was sure to give me cavities. Interestingly we are introduced to a balance of sugary goodness and the not good candy in this hidden gem I thought of the winter 2023.

Welcome to the 20th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. I promised for this episode a seasonal but the powers of nature didn't have that in store for me. The calling of Shinkai's newest film had to be met and my anticipation could not handle the wait. Had to discuss this and what better chance to on the 20th episode for the podcast! Suzume is many things with old Shinkai here and a new Shinkai emerges with fresh ideas. Now I have split this episode into two parts first half spoiler free and the second half spoilers which come in at 39:30. If you listen to the whole thing well good on you spoilers or not haha.

Welcome to the 19th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. I normally don't have a theme for my episodes but this one is a special dedicate to a blogger friend of mine Scott from Mechanical Anime Reviews. He runs a annual event known as Mecha March every year where it's all about the mecha and happy to get something out dedicating to this yearly event. Where I have ventured for a simple mecha series that would be a grand introduction for others into the overwhelming mecha world where it draws on the 'simple life' and is a dearly big favourite of mine.

Welcome to the 18th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. No love focused for love month as I did that last month but time to take a seat back with Venice and water ooo giving hints here. My first completed anime of 2023 and was certainly right the choice here. This anime has a powerful ability to make you feel the calm and serene you maybe seeking from the stress of your mind and I implore you to expand outside your horizon and give a shot!

Welcome to the 17th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. Why do us anime fans find it so hard to talk about our favourites, this invisible wall appears and without our consent. I finally beat that wall and have make the grand step of talking about one of my favourites series of all time but I warn you is a right old unconjoined ramble. If you enjoy that sort of talk then I'm sure you will be greatly entertained listening to me haha.

Welcome to the 16th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. I'm sure you reading this has a list of anime that you never got too in your early days, just sat there for a decade of never getting back too. I made some effort to knock one off my list that I watched only first single dvd of in my very early days of watching anime. Now I feel is even more important to talk about those 00's anime that don't get the recognition that they once did.

Welcome to the 15th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. Ascendance of a book worm was the last Isekai I watched and then all went silent not diving into any for months. Until one random fanart piece lead me to this unseen seasonal from last year which didn't reach people's radars. One of those watches which was a joy to discover and that Isekai does have other offerings than what is on the table usually.

Welcome to the 14th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. A long time ago in 2015 there was a war between two series that were so similar and the outrage over it was hysterical to me. I never thought I'd end up loving one of the two, let alone as a romance fan giving me a satisfactory need that we all just want in the end sometimes. I recently rewatched this favourite and so does it still live up to that same conclusive feeling from ions ago. . .

Welcome to the 13th episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. We're taking a pause to a prologue not a series for a change because this is a pretty big deal for fans of Gundam. The newest series has landed from studio series after so Iron Blooded Orphans and I was so moved had to talk about on here. Old gundam format but with FRESH ideas!

Welcome to the twelfth episode of Anime One At A Time!

The show where I take a pause to appreciate and discuss series one at a time. There are those shows that never get even a bit of attention which is how I felt about for this anime during spring 2022 seasonal and those myanimelist rankings just make you want to say your piece to put out in the world hoping to change a mind. I appericated fact we got a horse related series because there are not many out there in anime but Fanfare still had something to offer to the table.
