Anime Pulse

Looks like we’re lining up for a long drive. We’ve settled on a driving club. A number five; five or maybe six. A very nice medium range club with an excellent driving force that’s a little dated. Certainly not the choice of some of the top players but very popular among the amateurs hitting the links. Tim hasn’t gotten his on the green so all Weltall has to do is avoid the sand trap and he’ll be within the his strength, the short game. Weltall has My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness. This is one of those autobiographical mangas written by a mangaka who doesn’t seem to have done anything else. …

This week on Anime Pulse we got the return of Joseph, the second annual Fall Festival Giveaway, and season two of Monkey Fucker. Up first Joseph recounts his trip to Florida as well as hyping up the return of the Fall Festival Giveaway, and Andrew has recovered from his attempts at killing his liver and is looking for the best energy blasts in anime. Then in the industry news a stealthy bear terrorizing Japanese farms is killed, Cinnabon Japan has some limited time flavors, and anti-AI artists have their art stolen by AI artists. And finally we return to the regularly scheduled program with reviews as Joseph wants nothing to do with a pink gorilla, and Andrew concludes his time in the robot that is also his mom.

Movie reviews, please come to the white courtesy phone. Movie reviews, please pickup. If you’re not going to use the white courtesy phone, please head over to the beige discourtesy phone and let the operator know. For all cancellations, please head to the green motherly guilt phone. You know, if you’re not too important and can remember to call. We start off with Ides of March[2012]. Ryan Gosling is an assistant campaign manager. He’s working for a guy he really really believes in, played by George Clooney. Clooeny is a lock to win if he can secure enough delegates but to get the delegates Gosling is asked to make a …

High-low! It's Andrew (just me) with a (mostly) solo episode of Anime Pulse. This week we got best original animes, a potential light at the end of the tunnel for one delayed show and some chunky cool new mechas. Then on the gatai segment Joseph goes to Isekai Fantasy school with a lovable Saint while Andrew makes the worst rental of his life (no refunds).

P.s I also get pretty drunk by the end but I have edited out the long pauses for an improved experience...

We are like cardboard. Not because we are now made with up to thirty percent less material than previously. Because we are two flat sheets sandwiching corrugated paper. Also, we don’t stand up well in the rain. But that’s more because we’re from drier climes where water falling from the sky is of the devil unless it’s frozen. That’s a completely useless way of telling you that we have two manga again. Tim has a revisit of Kekkaishi. This time it’s an omnibus covering the first three volumes. A little recap is there are two families which banish evil spirits. They guard a magical place which happens to be underneath …

This week on VG Pulse, we have a surprise dragon once more! We start off with side notes of Kassy’s health and Millennium’s joyous journey into the land of finding cars in 2023! After the side notes we dive into the regular news where we discuss Gamestop losing its CFO, Nintendo’s new console reportedly being due out late next year, MrBeast suing Virtual Dining Concepts over his food brand being damaged with mass reports of undercooked and inedible food, and Rockstar hiring on a modding team that it had previously banned! After the news we go over the discord discussions, and close out with talk of food and anime! All …

This week on Anime Pulse we got Florida hype, being teased by your super sexy maid, and the coolest sunglasses in anime. Up first in the IRL news Joseph took a nice long walk, and Andrew has had a bit of an emergency. Then in the industry news we only got one topic, as Joseph was feeling hungry and went with some food news about Burger King. And finally in a surprising Gattai episode, Joseph the hero attends an event to become the next demon lord all while his hot blond maid lifts her dress at him and Andrew (does not) get back into the giant robot.

We heard everyone has gotten excited by the prospect of a toy based movie. We’re not sure why that’s working this time when Ouija happened and no one cared. That was clearly the best possible children’s toy to adapt. Anything less will fall short. Either way, we’re just thrilled that people are once again talking about Life-Size[2000]. We know it’s not the movie you were thinking of when we said doll and movie. We still watched the Lindsey Lohan and Tyra Banks vehicle. Tyra Banks is an ersatz Barbie who’s collectible and done every job in the world. Magic brings her to life and she enters Lohan’s life. Oh and …

This week on Anime Pulse we got the best drop rates in anime, Japanese students really don't know English, and cleaning up the backlog. Up first Joseph has been knocking games off his to-do list and catching up on anime, while Andrew is looking for who we think we could "fix" from the anime world. Then in the industry news the summer season shows signs of delays, and an HD remaster of a show Joseph didn't want but Andrew is hyped for. And lastly in the previews Joseph grinds out his healing skills so he can land those amazing rare drops, and Andrew retires after defeating the demon lord but ends up looking after a ghost loving cousin.

What is a man? No, mister Dracul, not a miserable pile of secrets. No, Diogenes, put the plucked chicken away. Mister Hilfiger, you answer of “person who wears jeans in my ads” is acceptable but please elaborate on that. Everyone else, have your essay ready by Tuesday and enjoy the holiday weekend. Don’t forget to listen to our wonderful manga reviews. Tim has Megaman NT Warrior. A manga based on the GameBoy Advance Battle Network game. It follows the events of the game well enough that Tim recalls characters and events. With the opinion that the adaptation makes some sense as the game had a plot which was clear. And …
