Anime Pulse

This week on Anime Pulse we got the top video games Joseph doesn't want to see made into anime, the top waifus/husbandos of 2022, and starting a harem in another world. Up first IRL news has Joseph humming along with some Friday Night Funkin' covers, and Andrew has to read off the longest lists ever when he asks us what out top heartthrobs from 2022 are. Then in the industry news Joseph takes a backseat as Andrew tackles bad takes on the most requested video game to anime adaptations and a door to a museum. Finally in the reviews Joseph see no issues buying, owning, and sexing a harem of slaves in another world, and Andrew takes off this clothes, hangs out with some lizards, and avoids being arrested for public indecency.

There’s still a whole lot of bargain bin DVDs sitting around for us to tackle. Only two movies were duplicated and we all ready did Poker Night. So we finally got down to Blood Money[2012]. It features Mr Worldwide himself, Pitbull. For about three minutes. Two of those are part of one of his songs though! The rest is an incomprehensible plot where an assassin with magic Oakleys kills people. So his boss can run cocaine into China. Then the guy turns on his boss because a girl has sex with him in a shower before he applies soap. It’s about as sexy as an instructional film on road accidents …

Then in the industry news a man finds a cool 5 million yen in the trash, all the isekai anime that has been announced as of yet, and who won the Japanese box office numbers. And finally in the reviews Joseph ignores the sexy succubus he summoned for a short stack, while Andrew attempts to lure Joseph into a world of magic and princesses with a sexy yandere.

What what, ol chap? You were mumbling something about a man-ga? A pod-cast? I swear the meals they serve in the diner car have always turned. How else can you explain these strange dreams of a world where man can travel the globe in the span of mere days? And all the while communicating freely with anyone else within seconds. Bad kipper is my reckoning. I’m going back to my bunk and we should arrive within the Orient on the morrow. Speaking of, Tim has Orient. In a world where Oni are worshipped as gods, samurai are outlawed. Also, samurai is used as an insult and kids growing up make …

Open your beers. Divy out the popcorn. And count your chips. We have another stunning Popcorn Pulse with a set of movies. A dual review kicks us off with a request from the bargain bin. We’re dealing in Poker Night[2014]. A movie with some rando as the main while the top billed is Ron Perlman and Giancarlo Esposito. Rando becomes a detective and runs afoul of a serial killer or rapist, it’s not clear which is his true calling. He captures detective and sort of tortures him for reasons that get revealed like a wet shart when you get to the bathroom. Weltall has Three Thousand Years of Longing[2022]. Tilda …

This week on Anime Pulse we got Santas in training, Netflix announcing more live action crap, and really bad pizza. Up first in the IRL news Joseph makes the worlds worst pizza before making some delicious chicken, and Andrew wants to know what the worst anime we have watched in 2022 was. Then in the industry news we must make offerings quick to the evil fox released from the Japanese Killing Stone, and an anime becomes nominated for a Golden Globe award. And finally in our last episode of the year Joseph micromanages a bunch of talking slimes and a cowardly wolf, and Andrew, the unluckiest boy in the world, is granted a special night with a hot Santa.

We made it through No Nuts November. Time to crack open that preservative jar and put them back in the sack. Maybe after a good squeeze to get that nut juice out. It’s the time of year when the collectors come around to top of their “almond milk” canisters and it fetches a fair trade price. On with the manga. Tim has a recommendation in The Best Smell. We have mister Nose and mister Lemon. Nose wakes up when someone kisses him on the cheek. He uses his ability of super smell to hunt down the boy and confront Lemon. Lemon boy then becomes obsessed with him and they have …

Up first Joseph quickly talks about some Rice Krispy treats and the weather outside, meanwhile Andrew is looking into who we favor among the Dragon Ball cast. Finally the reviews see us out with Joseph transforming into Red Ranger and hitting on Rita Repulsa, and Andrew attempts to manage an all female mecha fighting unit while juggling his intimate relationship with one.

The DC movie universe is still a thing. It’s easy to forget that they also make movies. Considering the seventeen hour miniseries they re-re-re-master from a long movie. They recently released something that’s related to another of their movies which was good. So we’ve got Black Adam[2022]. We kick off with ten minutes of backstory about Fake-landia. Where a king has enslaved his people and makes them dig for evil-tanium. So he can make a crown of demon powers. The council of wizards ends up giving power to a hero and then the Rock beats the king into the afterlife. Fast forward to modern day where the Rock wakes up …
