Anime Pulse

This week on Anime Pulse we got old video games, the better Cyberpunk creation, and Fox News creating an entire genre of porn. Up first Joseph finally has a fridge again and wrapped up his time with the Isekai Brothel game, and Andrew goes straight into community again to talk about what anime we'd recommend based upon our hobbies. Finally in the reviews Joseph decides to ditch his job as humanities protector to bang a hot demon lord, and Andrew replaces his meat-sack body for a pimped out cybernetic one to become an edgelord I mean edgerunner.

This week on VG Pulse, we have a good amount of news for once! If you’ve had a subscription streaming service you’ve probably been advertised an original movie or two. And if you’ve been remotely curious, or drunk enough, you’ve tried watching one of these. Especially if the social media hype has gotten to you. Then you watched it and promptly forgot about it. Which is how Tim and Weltall became probably the last two people in the world to bother watching a Netflix original movie that came out months ago. That’s right, we collected some Purple Hearts[2022]. It features a bar tender lady who has diabeetus and can afford her insulin. In spite of living in California where there’s state provided health insurance. …

This week on Anime Pulse we got a Japanese mayor who moonlights as the Punisher, a RomCom that doesn't cause massive cases of cringe, and anime that inspired us to become more than we were. Up first Joseph has been putting up with cats, organizing shelves, and running a monster girl brothel. Meanwhile Andrew hasn't been doing much, so we skip right into the community stuff to talk about biscuit hammer and what anime has pushed us to pursue. And finally in the reviews Joseph attempts to use smoke signals to talk to a very short and cute classmate, and Andrew is confessed to by a girl after failing to properly respond to a confession by a guy.

It’s been convention time around here. That means plenty of overpriced snacks from the land of the rising sun. Oddball panels and events. Wide range of cosplay from off the rack to professional grade. It also means manga grab bags are up for sale. And at the end of the con, they’re at their cheapest and prime for review material. Tim has Heavenly Executioner Chiwoo. Chiwoo is a little ruffian. A streetwise rapscallion. He gets in fights until one day a bounty hunter comes looking for him. He’s the sun of a famous executioner. When he find out his dad was infamous executioner, he goes some sort of super say-ecutioner …

This week on Anime Pulse we got dishonorable gangs, cat sitting, and a loli running an entire Inn. Up first Joseph's OCD is in full swing as he is cleaning out the entire kitchen while babysitting some cats, and Andrew asks another complicated question that doesn't see much participation. Then in the industry news Sailor Moon wants you to eat her sausage, the new Beach series gets a premier date, and the art director of Berserk and Revolutionary Girl Utena dies. And lastly reviews have Joseph fighting to stay away from his waifus in a video game world, and Andrew checks in at an inn run by a loli and haunted by a ghost loli.

Tickets! Get your tickets ready! We’re on a triple stop trip through Locoville, Madness Junction, and Crazytown. No matter where you’re going, we’re sure you have baggage so please make sure that’s stowed. Baggage may also be passed on to relatives or small children. There will be no drinks or snacks served and the dining car is closed. Take your meds and strap in. We’ve got Bullet Train[2022] with Brad Pitt. He plays some sort of contractor who’s sent to collect a briefcase on a train. Simple enough until it turns out the case is full of ransom money to be paid to a gang leader. Also people begin dying …

This week on Anime Pulse we got Japan trying to get rid of antiquated technology, Lupin the III in 2022, and the anime that personify you. Up first Joseph is trying a new thing called "buying his dinners at the grocery store", and Andrew's arms are wicked tired after flying back into London. Then in the industry news Japan wants more foreign students, cute girls doing war crime things, and we get another season of a golden immortal good guy. And finally we've returned to full reviews as Joseph uncovers his dark history which led to him being a brilliant thief, and Andrew creates a virtual avatar so he can unleash his vocal prowess upon a dragon.

We don’t have a lot of thoughts in the head today. It’s probably all those fumes from trying to strike oil out in the field so we don’t have to work anymore. That or it was getting beer bottles thrown at our head from digging in some random field looking for oil. Turns out property owners don’t care for trespassers. At least we’ll always have out manga. Tim has The Knight of Embers. There’s some group of heroes called knights who have people try out to join their organization. Onf of them, Najin, goes home to visit before his chunnin, er, knight exam to visit with his twin, Nagyuun. Who …

A special presentation brought to you by Tim and Weltall. We talk about the bad at Nan Desu Kan 2022. Not because we hate it, but because we don’t.
