Previously on Sound Doctrine we heard Matthew declare Jesus as the King, but now today we get the announcement of the King. John the Baptist served as the four-runner of Jesus, calling people to repentance and baptism. This would prepare the way for the Lord, who would soon come. Pastor Jeff will relate this to our calling to repent, be baptized and proclaim the good news of Jesus.
