The release also reportedly contains surveillance materials from the timeframe around Epstein’s death, adding to ongoing public distrust and speculation about transparency in the case. High-profile reactions include political pushback over reputational concerns, continued disputes over redaction practices, and calls from lawmakers for enforcement of the transparency law after deadlines were missed.
