Another Perspective with Scott Stevens

Let’s move our discussion from last week's Patriotism and Liberty to that of Accountability.
Accountability takes many forms, since all actions, all causes, thoughts, feelings, and actions come with consequences, in the form of effects. Accountability stems from the immutable law of Cause and Effect, or also known as Karma in some parts of the world.

Every action creates a Bill of Accountability.

Might 2020 be the manifestation of long ago acts now meeting the destined effect, cause, or karma returning for pay-back?

Time will tell.

Perspective is everything... If you get too close to any picture you’ll never see the whole picture. Let's have a discussion of why and how we come to believe, accept, and then enforce any specific perspective or point of view.

In this episode of Another Perspective, I will explore the intersection of Desire and the application of your Free Will in conjunction with how we negotiate the application of those two aspects of ourselves to achieve Liberty.

There are many different kinds of “Liberty,” which of these Liberties we desire will greatly determine what experiences we manifest into our lives. Do we willingly tighten the chains binding us, or are we cutting them free? Are we seeking political liberty or something more transcendental?

At what seems to be a rather tenuous time across the country, I wanted to look at Patriotism versus nationalism and the love of flags I had as a small boy. These could be very difficult topics, and just a simple as what is best for all concerned. All our problems have answers, each and every one. Usually, clarity comes with looking at the problem with a fresh set of eyes, with another perspective.

Today I will discuss my thoughts I had when recently confronted with a request to make a decision, a decision to choose sides, two sides of the American political spectrum. I want to examine the "apparent" differences that these two sides have, how they've changed over the years then reveal what my ultimate choice was.

We always, always have more choices than what is presented to us.

The topic for today's Another Perspective will be ... The Coming Agenda of Police Reform. How might policing change in the years ahead?

My Livestream show "Another Perspective" will begin at 3pm EST and Noon Pacific...  With all the chaos in the world and, with arguable so many moving parts, we'll step back a few steps and see if we can't take a look at the larger picture to figure out where this torrent of experiences might be taking us.

We'll start with some bit of censorship that I covered last week then transition into what's been underway this week.

See you shortly.

With rampant and increasingly severe authoritarian intrusion into venues of discourse, where do we go and what are appropriate responses from the citizens to maintain the free-flowing exchange of information and ideas.

Our world is so divided, why is this so?
