The Bake Down - Bake Off Reviewed

Another Winner Bakes It All

Listen Later

Well, what can you say! Ten fantastic episodes, 30 tremendous bakes, 12 contestants whittled down to three for this weeks final and one crowned the Bake Off Champion. I hope you’ve enjoyed watching this series as much as we’ve enjoyed making this podcast for you to listen to. We'll have one more episode next week which will be a recording from our live webinar this Saturday.

Joining Jane, Howard and Josh this week was former finalist Ian Cumming to reflect on a final we all struggled to call right until the end.

Whilst we are sad the series is coming to an end, we’re going to be celebrating with a special online event this Saturday, 28th November and we hope you'll join us.

Dan Beasley Harling will be leading a free webinar teaching you how to make the perfect scone with chantilly cream, so you can bake along with us for around an hour at 7.30pm to give you a little flavour of what a class with us entails and then at 8.45pm, Dan will be joined by Howard and Jane where we’ll all reflect on the 2020 Series of Bake Off and we'll take your questions. You do have to register if you want to attend that but it's absolutely free - click here to sign up if you’d like to attend.

We are having great fun hosting online baking classes for fans from all around the world and more classes have gone up on sale every week. Whether you'd like to learn how to make a Christmas Pastry Tree with Jane or a Luxury Banoffee Pie with Howard, you can check out our latest online baking classes on our website. Classes tend to start at 5pm or 8pm UK time on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate bakers from around the world, in particular our many friends from the USA. They're great fun and if you use the code PODCAST at checkout you'll get 10% off.

Also, perhaps you're missing your work colleagues or friends and thinking about how you can have a fun activity during these difficult times and a private online event with us is the perfect answer and we're looking forward to hosting plenty of Virtual Christmas Parties! Head over to our website learn more about our virtual events.

*** If you enjoyed this podcast please do leave us a review, it'll help ensure more Bake Off fans find us and would be a huge motivation for to keep making these podcasts for you. Please note we're not affiliated to the show itself or Love Productions, but we're huge fans of their work.***
