It's that time of the year again. Sydney's annual Mardi Gras festival and party is on, although this year it is a far more scaled back event due to Covid19. Regardless however, the traditional MG Anthems sets still go ahead. This year I've used some original extended mixes of tracks when they were released and blended them with some excellent updated versions of other party classics. The 15th edition kicks off with 2 original mixes of "What You Want" by Future Force and "Love Come Rescue Me" by Lovestation. For those of you old enough to have partied in the 90's, you should remember them instantly. The very talented and generous Mark (Dirty Disco) was kind enough to provide me with 3 of his new remixes which feature in this set. He does an awesome job on remixes for Kylie Minogue, Madonna and The Pointer Sisters, so thank you Mark x Wayne G. also kindly gave me 2 of his private mixes for the set. You will recognize the tracks from Shauna Jensen and Bek Jensen. Australia's Dom de Sousa and my good friend Rob (Division 4) also helped out with their remixes for Christina Aguilera and Tina Turner. Throw in some classic tracks from Alice Deejay and Blondie and Mardi Gras Anthems 15 is a euphoric, hands in the air trip down memory lane. Enjoy

The February 2021 edition of UP! is filled with smooth vocal and progressive house tracks. The set kicks off with a great male vocal track "Let Me Tell You Something" by Yvvan Back, followed by Madison Ryan's "Avant Garden". Dirty Disco present 2 remixes here for Donna DeLory and Audrey Callahan respectively. 7th Heaven also show up with 2 great remixes for Talay Riley and Jocelyn Brown. I have been searching everywhere for Sagi Kariv's remix of "Physical" by Dua Lipa and finally found it so, here it is along with his incredible mix of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights". I can't tell you how much I am really enjoying the quality mixes that Russ Rich & Andy Allder are producing. Russ very generously provided me with their remixes of Kelly Clarkson's "I Dare You" and Taylor Swift's "This Is Me Trying", both of which are outstanding. Remixes come from Bimbo Jones, Cahill, 7th Heaven, Soulseekerz and Almighty to name a few. The set closes out with Kylie Minogue's classic "Your Disco Needs You". Happy New Year to everyone. I know we're half way through January but I was a little slow off the mark this year. The January 2021 edition of UP! blends a mix of new tracks with some classics thrown in for good measure. The set kicks off with Kylie's new track "Real Groove" mixed by the very talented DJ Argonaut from Melbourne. Melanie C and Tones And I follow up with their current hits and it's great to see Cosmic Dawn back with a signature mix of "Save Your Tears" by The Weeknd. As the set moves into a more progressive house sound, Russ Rich & Andy Allder deliver a standout mix of Taylor Swift's new track "Evermore" as does Wayne G. on "Without You Tonight" by Anne Steele. The set eases into a big room sound with remixes from Dirty Disco & Dario Xavier and then plants its feet firmly in big room territory with remixes from Nick Stracener, Enrico Meloni and Toy Armada & DJ GRIND on new tracks from Miley Cyrus, Sagi Kariv and Sia. I'll be honest with you, I'm not really into Christmas but it has been a generally terrible year and a few friends have asked me to do a Christmas themed mix so, here it is. I figured that after the year we have all had to suffer through, a little Christmas cheer can go a long way. This set is very house/pop based with tracks from Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Wham, Dirty Disco and Pentatonix to name a few. Remixes come from Dirty Disco, Cutmore, 7th Heaven, Thunderpuss and Adam Turner plus more. So here we are at the end of 2020. A year I'm sure that everyone around the world wants to put behind them, I certainly do. The December 2020 edition of UP! takes us out of this year with a bang and a collection of awesome house and club mixes. The set kicks off with the Charlie Lane mix of "Everybody's Lost" by Ananya then slides into Ariana Grande's new track "34 + 35" which adds up to 69 - just sayin'. The Cube Guys have hit back with a stellar cover of Whitney Houston's "Love Will Save The Day". I put a throwback track from Danny Howells ft. Erire in the set because the Hoxton Whores remix of "Dusk 'Til Dawn" is so good. The set shifts to a happy main room sound with Jason Derulo's huge hit "Savage Love", Miley Cyrus' hit "Midnight Sky" and an amazing Toy Armada remix of Kylie's "Magic". Nick Stracener takes Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It" to another level and Kelly Clarkson delivers a standout vocal on her track "I Dare You". Steps are back with their pop hit "What The Future Holds" and Cyndi Lauper's new song "Hope" is beautifully mixed by Tracy young to close out the set. I'd like to take a moment to thank some people, both friends and in the music world for helping to keep me on track this year, personally and in the music production scene. Rob Ladic (aka Division 4) has been so supportive and I love our lunch get togethers in Sydney. Both Rob and Wayne G (whom I've known for years) have been extremely generous providing me with their private remixes for which I am very grateful. To Matt Consola at Swishcraft Music and the boys from Dirty Disco I say a big, heartfelt thank you & the same to Nick Stracener in Dallas. Swedish singer Agnes' new single "Fingers Crossed" is given a great remix by Until Dawn and Dirty Disco turn in another stellar effort on Kylie's "I Love It". Roberto Ferrari delivers an anthem mix of Dua Lipa's "Levitating" as does Andre Grossi on Ariana Grande's "Positions". The set closes out with a great F9 (Freemasons) mix of "The Streets Where I Belong" by Annie. Enjoy

The second edition of Essential Dua Lipa lends itself towards a big room sound with a host of remixes from circuit DJ's from around the world. The set is book ended by Dua's two most recent charting singles at the time of this production. Kicking off the set is an awesome Russ Rich & Andy Allder remix of "Hallucinate". This duo have been turning out some extraordinary remixes of late and this is no exception. Barry Harris features with two back to back remixes for "Hotter Than Hell" & "IDGAF" respectively. One of my favourite remixers Tommer Mizrahi, does the honours on "New Rules" while Joe Gauthreax works his magic on "Electricity". Edson Pride has two remixes here for "Last Dance" & "Cool" as do the always reliable Dirty Disco for "Love Again" & "Don't Start Now". Roberto Ferrari turns in a brilliant mix of "Break My Heart" as does Toy Armada on "Genesis". The set closes out with a stunning intro mix of "Levitating" by Israel Orona & Jonnas Roy. If you're looking for a more club heavy sound to your love of Dua Lipa, then her Essential's part 2 is for you. Enjoy

Moving through the set are tracks from Joel Corry, Topic, Clubland and Sia. The back end of the set rounds out with some great remixes from Roberto Ferrari and Russ Rich & Andy Allder. Dario Xavier delivers a beautiful mix of Calum Scott's "You Are The Reason" to close out the October '20 edition of UP! Enjoy
