Taylor Lorenz is an American culture and technology reporter for The New York Times, covering topics related to internet culture (via Wikipedia). Sophie runs a viral meme page called @joan.of.arca , which is one of our current favorites at AntiArt. After Taylor featured Sophie and a lot of her friends and fellow shitposters in a print article in The New York Times, I thought it'd be interesting to talk to both of them face-to-face. We talk everything from early Tumblr culture to hype houses to Tik Tok digests and even attempt to help Sophie figure out her future career.
