Any Anime Podcast

I would, first of all, like to say thank you to our audience for sticking with us throughout the year. Without you guys, we wouldn't be doing this kind of year retrospective content for an anime podcast, we would probably have given up by this point. But recent metrics show that we are only growing and reaching more people, which makes this kind of cumulative content so worthwhile! We have so much fun recording, and the only thing I really want from this platform is to have you guys share the fun with us.

But enough sappy talk, you came here for some awards and we deliver them. We do genre and character awards before meeting at the apex and nominating the official AAP representative for Anime of the Year! Every anime ranked B or above throughout the year is eligible for the awards.

If you agree, disagree, or feel like we missed an obvious nominee, feel free to let us know @AnyAniPod on X (twitter) or email us at [email protected]!

WARNING: Some anime in this episode could not be discussed without talking about SA present in some of these anime. If this makes you uncomfortable, I apologize, but I would recommend you skip this episode.

I'm not gonna lie to you, audience; this is one of the most unhinged episodes I have ever been a part of in my podcasting career. The amount of rants alone is wild. Some of the anime (Claudia's in particular) are bat$#!t crazy! Incredibly fun to record!

Thank you for listening, we hope you enjoy.

Hey hey, we close out Fall 2023, which was a banger of a season, and start setting the table for our 2023 Awards show!

The boys are back with a vengeance. Post holidays, post new year, we finally have the means to post an episode WITH THE BOYS!!! We couldn't record for a while, but now that we can, we decided to take it chill and talk about one of the least chill anime we have ever witnessed: Jujutsu Kaisen S2.

For obvious reasons there will be spoilers.

Happy New Year, you filthy weebs! Claudia and I are BACK for the first list based content of 2024. This week's episode has us longing not just for the future, but for a future that could've been. We talk about the ten anime we wish had a sequel released, or even announced. Be prepared for more content in 2024!

It's been a while, but Claudia and I are back here to bring you another entertaining top ten to admire! I think creatively speaking, this was one of the more fun exercises and we definitely surprised each other with some of our picks!

We revisit Winter 2021 in a nostalgia filled episode in which we revisit our original grades for that season. Many shows like Sk8 the Infinity, Horimiya, and So I'm a Spider, So What? brought back so many memories of watching and reviewing in the previous iteration of this show. I hope you enjoy and maybe discover some anime you may have missed.

Hey, so we closed out the mid-season review last week with a bang, but after recording, we thought... what if we did MORE mid-season review? Two shows have cracked the top twenty on Anitrendz and we decided to check out if they are worth the hype. Those two shows are Ragna Crimson and Tearmoon Empire. Thank you for listening!

This was a fun exercise in interpreting a prompt for both me and Claudia, but we had a blast remembering anime that we had to look over our shoulders while watching. Thank you for listening!

Hello there buddies. Today's episode was very sleepy, and yet, highly contentious when it comes to the shows today, but especially with The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You. We also get into it with Shangri-La Frontier, I'm in Love with the Villainess, and Stardust Telepath. Thank you for sticking with us through this season, we have one more week to go for the mid-season review to end and we can go back to talking about random stuff until the end of season.
