Benji bravely opens up about his battles with depression, despite his outward charm and wonderful lifestyle. He explains how he feels in a very relatable way and helps Freddo understand how it is unrelated to exterior circumstances.
This was a fantastic insight into the workings of the mind when it goes dark and how it can taint even joyful experiences with an ominous shadow.
Freddo’s penis is finally liberated from it’s shackles, and he is thrilled to be no longer tethered to his wee bag.
We also talk about the vaccine hesitancy spectrum, censorship and the deplatforming of dissenting voices, freedom of speech, health passports and whether it’s a good idea to give up more privacy, considering the people we are giving it to have a track record of misbehaving, and what can be done about it. Freddo does his best to steelman an opposing view so it's not just an echo chamber, which inspires a very lively debate.
Hopefully this episode can provoke some thoughts, ignite new ways of thinking, spread ideas and inspire respectful discussion about these polarising topics.
