Then we will be addressing some scandals, videos, and coverups within the SBC and other churches, including Johnny Hunt being accused of

We want to give hope on how Christians should respond to the arguments that come up from non-believers, and those who have been hurt by false converts in the church. What is the biblical method for handling exposed sin in the church?

Apologetics Live episode 161

When will the gift of tongues end? Paul provides the answer, but so many break the rules of interpretation to try to say that the text says what the text does not say. Andrew explains 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 in detail to answer the question. Some try to disagree, but the walking through the interpretation, the answer to tongues continues today.

“Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:8–13)

Apologetics Live Episode 161

Join Justin Pierce, Justin Peters, Chris Honholz, and others to discuss the last days apostasy that we are seeing right before our eyes, with rampant moral sin, coverups, and compromise in the SBC.

We will address the Guidepost report, the ERLC, the covers-ups of Johnny Hunt, and Ed Litton’s support of Rick Warren (founder of Chrislam) who rebuked the convention for daring to remove Saddleback over the “secondary issue” of ordaining women pastors. Warren received a thunderous ovation from the convention members.

We are going to discuss pastors who sympathize with abortion-minded women in the wake of Roe v Wade, and what the Bible warns us to expect in light of 2 Thess 2:3; 1 Tim 4:1-3; 2 Tim 4:3-4, and many other passages.
