Apologetics Live Episode 144

Join Pastor Justin and Josiah Nichols for part 2 of our examination of the history of Marxism, Neo-Marxism, and the ideologies behind this godless and dangerous movement. Critical Race Theory is the ideology that is behind every conversation today.

Have you heard that CRT and Intersectionality have become indoctrination tools in society? Unfortunately, many leaders in the church are using them to introduce Socialist Marxism into the body of Christ.

Did you know that Gramsci said, “Socialism is precisely the religion that must kill Christianity. [It is a] religion in the sense that it too is a faith … [and] because it has substituted for the consciousness of the transcendental God of the Catholics, trust in man and his best strengths as the sole spiritual reality.”

So, please join us as we explain the history and ideology behind CRT and help you defend a biblical view of race, ethnicity, justice, fairness, and equality?

Apologetics Live Episode 143

Join Pastor Justin as we examine the history of Marxism, Neo-Marxism, and the ideologies behind this godless and dangerous movement.

Critical Race Theory is the ideology that is behind every conversation today. Recently, Whoopi claimed that the Holocaust was not about race. Celebrity elites are making videos admitting their white guilt, schools are teaching CRT, and school boards call on the FBI to treat parents as terrorists. Politicians make oppressive policies to force equality of outcome. church leaders state that white people are racists and call for intersectionality training. It hasn’t ended there; CRT and Intersectionality have become the weapons many church leaders are using to introduce Marxism into the church.

So what are we to do about this issue? Can you defend a biblical view of race, ethnicity, justice, fairness, and equality? Even though we all hear these concepts daily, do you know the history and ideology behind CRT?

As the Bible says, “See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.” (Colossians 2:8, NASB95)

Apologetics Live Episode 142

Justin Peters will be with us Thursday at 8 pm EST, and you are invited to come along for this great conversation. Does the Bible explain the purpose for miracles, signs, and wonders (Acts 2:22)?

Why does having a biblical understanding of these issues inform our knowledge of God, and do we need to believe in the Trinity? If so, what is the Trinity?

We explain that it is very important to have a careful and precise definition of a biblical “miracle” Moses Ex 4; Ezekiel, NT Jn 3:2

A true miracle must be non-counterfitable.

Must prove that God has vindicated His own messengers.

A Miracle is a function of Divine revelation.

Miracles are always for vindication.

One definition; “A miracle is an event in nature, so extraordinary in itself and so coinciding with the prophecy or command of a religious teacher or leader, as fully to warrant the conviction, on the part of those who witness it, that God has wrought it with the design of certifying that this teacher or leader has been commissioned by him.” [A. H. Strong, Theology,118]

Apologetics Live episode 137

Two discussions in one mega episode. One will be with an unbeliever that wants to have a discussion. The second is a discussion on what is the Church of Christ. Some refer to the Internation Church of Christ as a cult, others claim it is the only true church. Both sides will be represented. This is a long one but wow is it worth it. The end is crushing.

Apologetics Live episode 136

Recently the Babylon Bee interviewed Elon Musk and Justin Peters did a video about their gospel presentation. The Bee is a popular online publication that often satirizes Christianity. So when they interviewed Elon Musk, people took notice. But what happens when satire meets reality? Do the Babylon Bee staffers know the gospel? The Bee has always been a reliable source of hilarity and entertainment. But recently, they've been straying from their core mission, interviewing Elon Musk and other such foolishness. Is the Babylon Bee up on their theology? Recently, they interviewed Elon Musk and – well, let's just say it's raised some eyebrows. But don't worry, because Apologetics Live is here to help you navigate their interview and discern the theology .... or lack thereof.

Also discussed, did JD Geear really apologize and ask forgiveness of the LGBT community.

Listen to Justin's podcast about the Bee.
