PD Ouspensky's "Letters from Russia" 1919 was published in 1978 by Routeledge & Kegan Paul. [Sorry for the terrible audio, guys. Microphone mishap.]

Dr. John White is a philosopher, author, counselor, and Jungian psychoanalysist. He also writes and presents on esoteric spiritual concepts, including New Thought, which is the topic of today's discussion. Dr. White has a course named New Thought and Modern Esotericism.

This discussion arose out of email exchange.

Keith Joseph is an instructor with the Institute for Hermetic Studies, which is located in northeast Pennsylvania and which offers various materials for students of esoterica at https://institute-for-hermetic-studies.teachable.com/

In our email, Keith nonchalantly mentioned that he felt Karl Marx was the prophet of the Kali Yuga. I instantly responded that we needed to discuss. Keith was gracious enough to respond in the affirmative. This was a fun, fascinating conversation that I trust you'll all find vastly entertaining.

KristaLyn is an astrologer and the head of the Modern School of Ancient Wisdom. KristaLyn is also a Christian and a practitioner of Braucherei, a form of Christian folk magic still practiced by some Pennsylvania Dutch to this day. We discuss how astrology and Christianity can (or cannot) coexist philosophically and spiritually.

Dendera is the best-preserved temple complex in Egypt. It's most famous feature is its ceiling, the "Zodiac of Dendera," which rivals the Sistine Chapel in terms of the intricacy and breadth of artwork. Software engineer, data architect, and thinker Jose Barrera took over 5,000 pictures of the ceiling and wrote software that stitched them all together in a seamless whole.

Alex "Bruce Leroy" Caceres is one of my favorite martial artists on the scene. Following one of his victories, he shared a simple yet profound insight that we can use to carry ourselves through the fires of our own lives.

Oxford scholar Tobias Churton is one of the world's prolific authors on the subjects of religion, spirituality, and esotericism. In his most recent work, The First Alchemists, he traces the origins of that most mysterious and most fascinating school of mysticism and science.

The book is a great primer for those who know little or nothing on the subject, but it's also great for those who are familiar with the topic already. Churton shares some texts that have never been translated into English for popular readers before. He digs deep into many erroneous assumptions that have long (mis)informed popular conceptions of the subject.
