It's a wrap on season one of the Blindspotting tv show (you can watch the whole season right now on STARZ), and we're capping off our celebration with actor and singer, April Absynth! We last spoke with her in May for her starring role in Lumpia with a Vengeance, and this time around she's playing a completely different character that we instantly fell in love with, Jacque.  We get into why this character needed to be Filipina, the importance and responsibility she felt to represent for the AAPI community, her family's reaction to her being half naked on screen, the oversexualization of women in Hollywood (and how Blindspotting is changing the game for women actors), and how her hard work and dedication resulted in her character becoming a series regular. She also shares why she became a singer and how music has helped her heal. She is truly a pleasure to speak with, and she doesn't mind us calling her our #HotCousin. That means we are best friends forever.
